Player Heung-Min Son (손흥민)

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

He has been poor this season, his form isn't worthy of regular first team place . Unfortunately the world cup has been no better . I'm not sure the Son fan boys will turn up in such numbers with his diminishing influence on the Korean national team.
A great player overall, slight hit and miss over the years but those purple patches absolute brilliance.

Son, moments before he assists for their goal

Did Son cry again? Imagine a guy like this crying every week in a Roy Keane captain title competing team. It would be nipped in the bud straight away.

Mentally a child. Cant keep his emotions in check. I remember that one game where he lost the ball and in anger lashed out in a tackle and then started crying. Like kid in an U9 game.

This coupled with his jokey character in training, just tells me this is why Spurs wont win a league anytime soob. The mentality isnt there. One of our most important players, a 30 year old man, and he cant help himself but throw a wobbly atleast 5 times a season. Embarrassing stuff. Good footballer though.
One of the worst takes I've seen written on this forum, and that takes some doing.

Just because you don't have any emotional intelligence doesn't mean everyone else has to be like you. Bloke shows emotions doesn't make him weak, what fucking decade did you teleport from ffs.

Son haters embarrassing themselves.

By the way- if you go to games the fans in the stadium love Son. They don’t moan about his emotions or start planning his imminent replacement.

It's almost like he's a very likeable, clearly hard working athlete who has been very dedicated to the club and has carried us a lot in recent years. Almost like only a total weapon would care if he expresses his emotions openly.

Son is rightly loved by the fans. He's great. Thankfully *most* of our fans have supported him through a bad patch of form and *most* of the fans haven't got on his back because he gets emotional playing for the country & club he clearly loves.

But then *most* of us aren't emotionally stunted E-Goblins.

Don't forget Incels they are also Incels. Forgetting them is what starts their murderous impulses in the first place.

One of the most pathetic posts you've ever made.

Guess what. Crying isn't a weakness. Being emotional is not a weakness. Being open about your emotions is not a weakness.

What you are posting goes against everything that relates to good mental health, and I have a massive issue with what you've posted.

It is because of "men" like you that other blokes don't go and seek help or talk about their mental health or are too afraid to show their emotions in public.

Bin vote cast. Discussion over.

We're in the middle of a mental health crisis for men & tossers like that are mocking/attacking someone because he doesn't hold his emotions in.

Son seems a really happy, healthy person most of the time & is clearly loved by the squads he plays in.. he's also mega successful. So maybe it's fucking working for him and we should take notes?

Yeah, what we need more of in this world is more toxic masculinity.

Fuck off, dinosaur

He had a good brief spell against Leicester but otherwise has been very disappointing this season imv

He was saving himself for the World Cup. Of that I have little doubt. That Leicester game he was angry at being benched so came on and tried like last season. I suspect he will be back to his normal self after Christmas. I just hope he doesn’t take long to play himself back into form. I really have little worry about him.

Have you considered the angle that you are the one that is emotionally a child? Or do you think you are just better and more evolved than the 22 people that disagreed with you?

We really do have some vile, fickle, bitter, hateful cunts on this forum........ Ditto the people that think these individuals are funny or to be 'cheered' on.

The toxicity is palpable.
