You and I have written this same post in many threadsAlso Modric is mainly jogging and rarley sprints. Son is sprinting the entire game (well, for the first hour or so before his legs go). UEFA's website shows Modric runs on average 5.2 km per game.
The table in the article below (from last season) shows Son and Kulusevski are second only to Newcastle's Anthony Gordon in intense sprinting during games.

Come on Captain ???He should walk the fucking plank. Every game he’s losing his popularity. His performances are pathetic. Used to be one of my favourites but that’s a distant memory now.
I agree with you he's losing his lustre with the fans - that last performance was fukkin dire not just at a 'Sonny Standard' but my little brother who plays as a 7 was more energic on the field in the last match he played against a Youth team of 18-19yr olds & he is 38. Why? he came on as an impact Sub after halftime because the team was gassed against kids but he was able to prove 2 crosses inot the box & with two smashers into the goal as the olders won 3-2 as he came on 2-1 against.
It's how he's managed I'm now done with sentimentality, hopium or copium now - I love Sonny he in my eyes is a damn heroe to this club & his country but I will not defend fairy tales.
I don't care (after debating for months) why his pace is gone, his feet have become pillows or that he's not as good as he was because it doesn't matter about the reasons because it's the reality I see on the pitch - Kane at Bayern doesn't play the same why he did at Spurs, he relies on others like Musiala's pace & dribbling to help him score goals.
I want Sonny to manage well on the pitch & let him have his tenure here while leaving on a high (unlike Kane) I have faith in him as a player but that profile needs to be tailored to his abilities otherwise he's being setup to failure which I do not like.
Son has been a fantastic servant to this club. In my eyes close to legend status.

And whenever (twice) he did have the odd run near their area he chose the wrong option by shooting while other players were available in their box!

I don't know why you're self-censoring but he was fukkin shit that game yesterday & I can't remember apart from the Olympico goal he scored against Man U in a corner where he really shined.
Sonny has pillow feet now - I used to excuse it saying 'maybe he's too knackered due to injuries in the squad & he's carrying them' I can't use that excuse nor should anyone else anymore.
Remember that goal he scored from a similar distance against the Scum from a Kane assist!
