Kane gave this club absolutely everything he had, up to and including the nine-figure bag for his departure.

One of our own, a legend for all time, couldn't be more chuffed for him breaking his own trophy drought, and no one should have any doubt that he was buzzing as much as any of us last night.

He should have won trophies here, but all's well that ends well. It's a little like when people used to swear Berbatov would never be welcomed again after being a (much bigger) shithead on the way out the door. Football and life don't work like that, we remember the good times.
 
The most perfect of endings! Could have left at any time, but he stayed loyal! You only need to see how the fellow pros in the industry have reacted to him finally lifting that cup!

In my opinion he goes down as one of our greatest ever, up there with the likes of Hoddle etc! To finally break this curse is monumental
