Match Home (allegedly) v Watford EFL Cup 26th Sept -20-00.

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

We'll have to disagree on this one pal. I don't think we are making them work for it anywhere near as much as we could be. I've seen at least five occasions in the first half where passing ahead of the player instead of to feet or players being flat footed and wanting ball to feet where it would have got them running backwards which would give our central attacking players the chance to hold back into space or attack near posts or penalty box gaps to make the most of getting in behind them and we never seem to want to take calculated risks. For me it's too timid for Tottenham, just how I see it but in small doses that seem to be getting bigger by the game with certain individuals. I don't think the belief attacking wise and defensively is full throttle at the moment. The simple pass gets played very frequently and too much for my liking I want to see some of our boys on their toes a little more and anticipation levels taken up a notch regardless of what Watford are doing to nullify it. Our defenders should be able to cope if we lose possession and someone is out of position
I didn't say you were 100% wrong
just that your comments in isolation show no respect for the fact that there are 11 guys out there trying to stop the ones in white doing the things that you say are wrong.

Come on lads keep this pace with the ball up and we can switch this game on it's head in 5 mins.

Get Son on for Wonks I love him more than Sissoko but wantama and Sissoko as the central 2 doesn't make us weaker as a central pairing based purely on athleticism and strength

I really don't understand what Poch is trying to do here playing Moura at CF.
Moura will never be a line-leading CF for us in a competitive situation.
Llorente should have started/ Son or Dele there would have made at least some sense.
If Poch knew Llorente would never play another game for us, why the hell did we not keep Griffiths and promise him some cup starts?
It just feels like the plan here is to fail. We aren't even playing that many second-stringers and we look useless.
This is fucking embarrassing and pathetic- unfitting for this club. I'm pissed off.
