I posted weeks ago the board would fuck things and we would be scrambling with six games to go getting in a manager to save us like Newcastle did when they left it too late and got shearer in and he couldn’t keep them up.

We will probably get ledley king in . He would probably take it as he’s Tottenham for life.

Just over a week ago I confidently predicted that Igor would be gone on Monday. At the time I'd forgotten it was FA Cup weekend and thought it was the Liverpool game last weekend. Sincere apologies to everyone here, because I know you rely heavily on me as the forum's foremost ITK. I meant next Monday.

Mourinho, Conte, Nuno, Ange, Frank and now Tudor have struggled with recent squads. Apart from a few exceptions we are simply shocking at buying players, so much money wasted over the years because we keep signing crap.....Mourinho, Conte and Nuno had Kane and Son to cover the majority cracks developing in this club. Since Kane left and Son started to rapidly decline we've been left with this harsh reality of an utter incompetent group of players

It’s because we always tried to cut corners and tried to be too clever while not spending enough on wages.

It’s part of the frustration. With a proper knowledgeable director of football and recruitment department behind a proper manager the sky is the limit for this club. The money we can spend because of the stadium is huge. But it has to have the right decision makers behind it and we don’t.

There will be a point in the future when we do though and I think that’s the fear for a lot of other fans. They know that if we ever sort ourselves out we will be a powerhouse in world football. But there’s a reluctance to try for that with these owners. They either dont see the potential or dont want to realise that because they’d rather focus on growing value (without realising or unwilling to make us more successful). We all know it’s the latter. Penny wise, pound foolish.
 
Is there anyone ( journalists) putting out anything on the finance rules of the championship.
Do we have to balance books or get a points deduction etc.
Chances are we operate on a scenario where all debts aren’t call in at once

Mason has been an integral part of the set up that's seen this football clubs self destruction from Champions League mainstays to relegation threatened dross over the last near ten years.
Synonymous with the teams failure and decline.
Other than as a spectator, He should never be setting foot inside the stadium again.

I listened to The Tottenham Way podcast on Wednesday and they made a pretty compelling case for Mason. But really it was because of the lack of a viable alternative. Worth a listen though as they made some good points. I was against it until I listened to that. It didnt swing me around completely but as I suggested we bring in Ledders & Dawson after they sacked Frank to help improve morale I still think bringing club men in is the way forward now. Although with this group, I think nobody will motivate them apart from their own self interest.

Yeah we want another cunt looking for a big pay day like him or Redknapp or Sherwood. They all want to come in for the "not getting relegated bonus"......although maybe I shouldnt care if they actually got it in the end as that is all that matters now.

Actually I am still waiting for somebody to suggest Roy Keane to compound things with another bulldog chewing a wasp type manager!
