Manager Igor Tudor

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

1. Porro played right of the back 3 so not sure what you're on about
2. Are you sure Kinsky and Austin are any better. All well and good saying Vicario needs dropping but if Kinsky is not showing much in training you can't throw him into the fire.
3. Do you think he said to the players just as they're leaving the dressing room "make sure you start slow ponderous lads?" No, of course he didn't. The confidence of these players is rock bottom and most if then are hiding.
4. Whilst I somewhat agree with this, Richy seems to get his goals from the bench plus he's only just come back from injury and might be on a pitch count.
5. I've no issue with the subs. I think the idea of taking off Souza who looked massively out of his depth and RKM who just looks shit, for a couple of players who might make us tighter and harder to break down was the correct call. Sadly it backfired within minutes. I was more concerned putting Tel to LWB as his poor pass allowed Palace to get their second.
6. We were down to ten and competing well. Baring 30 mins here and there Xavi has been awful. He's not our most creative available player. I've discussed Richy in point 4.

Look, I know people want to lash out at Tudor but he's been handed a shit sandwich.
Agree with your final point for sure. Shit sandwich.

1. Funny enough I’d not spotted that and was there ! Apologies. Just goes to show you can miss things ( maybe due to looking through my fingers )
2. Reasonable point.
3. Probably
4. Meant the staring of Kolo, as opposed to Richy.
5. Agree on the Tel pass.
6. Again fair point.

I get what he was trying to do with Porro on the right of a back 3 tbh. There were quite a few occasions Porro overlapped and found space because their full back was preoccupied with Gray.

Thing is, we are not in a situation where we can try these elaborate tactics and needed an interim that focuses on the basics. A redknapp type that would tell Porro "alright mate how about you hug the byline and get the ball in the box as much as you can".

Igor seems pretty clueless when it comes to the football side of things and he most certainly isn't a quick learner. But I don't see much of that big personality / winner aspect either. It's almost as if they've put a random secondary school custodian in charge.. Good luck.

He said after the game he now knows who he can rely on.
I could have told him that before the game. His deeds mean more than his words.
Next 3 games: Atleti away, Liverpool away, Atleti home.
Then Forest home.

We arent going to win a game with Igor in charge, but at this point does it matter whos in charge?

Our players are cowards, and very limited.
You see how we come out at home in a game we have to win?
The change was made too late, and now everyone is going to pay for it other than the players who are going to get their pathetic moves in the summer.

Looking back at last night….

I do think the loss is more on Tudor than I initially thought.

1) when playing a back 3, and with a porous midfield. Should you play your best DM on the right of the back 3 ? NO.

2) your goalkeeper is a horrific mess, who should have been dropped months ago, with a highly nervous back 3, which contains a CDM, should you keep picking that Goalkeeper ? NO.

3) when you need the crowd with you from the start, should you set up your team to start slow and ponderous? NO.

4) Do you pick a striker who has 1 goal this season above a striker who has 9 ? NO.

5) Following a sending off, do you decide to sub two players @ 40 minutes, rip apart any remaining cohesion, and risk conceding more, or do you shut up shop. Until Half Time and regroup - the answer is the latter.

6) when chasing the game, do you keep your top scorer and also your single creative player on the bench for the majority of the second half ? NO

Much as I would see it too, Frank was a disaster kept around for way too long, but this guy it arguably worse, has no pedigree, no premier league experience and he thinks shouting at players and playing as many in the worng position as possible is the solution to our problems. Everything about him is wrong and he needs to go asap.

You can't blame tudor for van der den letting us down. Irresponsible and more so being captain.

We were 1 nil up before van der ven had a rush of shit to the brains. Largely what's happened with some of these players. Tudor weren't culpable last night. Van der ven was. He needs to take the shit for once and im his biggest fan.

He definitely needs to take responsibility for what he did, and I hope he doesnt blame others, but only himself.

But as a professional, he needs to look towards the next game and train hard enough to perform for us and make a difference.

Just seems he has a knack of perhaps blaming others, but I may be wrong.

Agree. But van der ven has had his ego massaged enough by fans last 3 years and this time he needs to take responsibility for once. As does romero. Badly let club down but they can restore faith if they help us avoid relegation.

WHAT DID ANYONE WITH FUNCTIONING EYES SEE FROM THIS GUY THAT GIVES THEM THE CONFIDENCE HE IS THE MAN FOR THIS JOB?

Ok, I am with giving time. This is not the "give them time" situation. WE NEED RESULTS NOW!!!!!!!

Impossible to assess Tudor on Thursday, aside from the formation, but we were 1-up. That's irrefutable.

We have Liverpool next, with a high likelihood we would lose that game, regardless of personnel.

That leaves 8 games. I discount the sh!t of the CL.

Thr question for the board is not do we wait for the next 2 games but do they act now, if they don't have confidence in Tudor, because waiting over Frank is,in my opinion why we are in this situation.

The next issue would be who to bring in, and does anyone trust this board to get that right.

It was mostly VDV and Vicario as well really

No red card and I think we win the game. At least a point. Tudor was shutting out the pass to Wharton with the CF and Sarr and they weren’t doing much. As soon as we went to 10, Wharton was everywhere

We did well to recover after the start of the game where Palace did all they could to waste time, break it up and make it impossible for us to get going. During the first ten or twelve minutes the ball must have been in play for only about three of it. That didn’t help us to get going and was obviously a tactic by them to stop any momentum we wanted to get early doors.

I can see why he did it. He’s trying to instal his formation and tactics into the squad so getting them to play it as much as possible irrespective of the personnel. It’s why I’d like to see the side with the first choice back three and Porro and Udogie on the wings before talking about his future. It still won’t arrest our midfield not being able to play through the lines but getting Romero in as the central CB might help with that. Unfortunately for us, time is in short supply.
