Manager Igor Tudor

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Correct so the players are fully to blame. I hated Frank because he tried to bullshit fans and was deluded and that’s why I wanted him gone. Ange had to go because we finished 17th but there was always an argument for him staying because he won something. Tudor is getting serious stick after 3 games. The players are not adapting to anything and that’s all on them. After athletico games and Liverpool we will see exactly what these pea hearts are all about. Time for them to get their fingers out in games we should be winning.
Quite a few of the games we've lost this season, we played against teams that were bang out of form, and we gave them an unexpected win i.e. they had few or no wins in recent games. We are the pits and will not be favourites to win any league game through to the end of the season, so unless they can pick themselves up (because Tudor clearly can't do it), then they are already relegated.

I agree with that, and for me, it all comes down to due dilligence when making signings. How many signings over the past 5-10 years have got us really excited? We just sign over-rated, over-valued, injury-prone, inconsistent, bad-attitude, non-Prem suited players. They don't all fit all those criteria, but most of our signings have turned out this way.

Spurs recruitment has been terrible, with so much money wasted, by someone we kept on referring to as a 'shrewd businessman'. Levy sanctioned just about all of them, and he and ENIC are why we are in this mess.

Until be start buying quality top-4 players, we aren't getting anywhere near top 4. Man U did it inside 1 season and got in the right temp manager. How come we always makes decisions look like rocket-science???

Because football and the PL isn’t a top priority?

They haven't won a game since they sacked him early january.

They've gotten much worse, he was obviously not the problem.
Just the same as it’s our shit group of players fault. My gripe is people going after Tudor after 3 games. One against Woolwich which there was only one outcome, piss poor against Fulham and a defeat again at home to palace which came down to poor decision making from our best player.

Everybody tries to complicate football by saying we need this and that and play this way but when the players are average at best, weak as fuck mentally and have zero fucking heart for a fight then you don’t win games no matter who is in charge and that’s the same at every level of football.

Players don’t want to compete and all just blame each other rather than take responsibility themselves. Starts with the keeper and spreads throughout the team. It’s why I’d risk it and drop Vicario for Kinsky to see if that helps.
Agree apart from Kinsky; looked hella shaky last cameo iirc.

I's actually prefer Austin to deputise.

Has done nothing really wrong whenever he's had his chance and has never been rewarded.

Just left to rot.

Yup, like I said, not that impressive.

His time in thw US is also fraught with criticism.

People have a romanticised view of him, great.

We dont have the players he had at our disposal when he was last here, it wont be the same and everyone is going to be bitterly disappointed if it happens.
Romanticised view?!

:avbshit:

WALOB!

His tenure is the most competitive we’ve been in the Premier League era so let’s not rewrite history!

I’m putting this thread on ignore for my own sanity.

Looked at this guys record over 10 years. Going back to June 2016.
Seemed like a fair amount of time.

He’s had 9 jobs and averaged 23 games per club.
23!!!

I’ve not even included our 3games to get to that average.

After Marseille (48 games) his next longest appointment was for a club most famous for having far right fans who dressed up in Ku Klux Klan outfits and hung out a banner in an incident in 1996 in which an effigy representing Dutch player Maickel Ferrier was hung from the stadium railing with a banner reading "Negro, get out of here"

Seems like a nice football club!!
Basically nazis.

Make it all make sense!!!

He’s an interim manager. He’s not going to be here long either. Was never meant to be.

Can’t believe he’s still here. The fact that there are decent Spurs people who understand our game and are willing to take on the poisoned chalice should have us biting off their hands. Action needed now or we’re going down and facing footballing oblivion.

Romanticised view?!

He had a monster first team of players - and he failed to win us a thing with the most talented first team I have ever seen us with in a MUCH MUCH MUCH weaker Premier League.

Grateful to him for the memories, but the guy is not a winner, a closer. Never has been.

You talk as if he inherited that team rather than built it and improved players through coaching.

I think we lacked one or two players from achieving much more.

He was hamstrung by ENIC.
