Manager Igor Tudor

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Thank goodness Wee ( who doesn’t talk to me anymore btw ) isn’t still doing his caption-competitions* , I’d shudder to think what might get written in Richi’s speech-balloon . Let alone that fella in the middle with the snood and the fancy ear-stud .

Having said that little Xavi seems happy enough in his warm hat and scarf ; probably just been told it’s fish-fingers and steamed kale for lunch . With jelly for afters . And thereafter his time is his own .

* In fact someone should get in touch with him and ask him to start them up again , goodness knows we could do with cheering up .

Why doesn’t www www talk to you anymore?

He’s an interim manager. He’s not going to be here long either. Was never meant to be.
May be he isn’t here long but wtf does his record show that he warranted a top job in the PL on huge wages no doubt. He is not even close to PL relegation experts like Dyche, big Sam, etc. how many of his old jobs did he really rescue the team. Juve were just outside top 4 I think so not in a relegation scrap. Think managerial ‘recurd’ needs closer scrutiny and analysis.

I agree, right now it looks like a disastrous appointment.
But I also don't buy the whole "you need premier league experience" argument, not at all.
Slott, Mourinho, Conte, Ancelotti, all won titles in their very first seasons in charge. Other coaches have come from abroad and been roaring successes. Wenger, Klopp, Pep, won titles having never managed or played here before they arrived.
Vitor Perera kept Wolves up in his first season in the PL.
Christian Gross had no experience at all, yet he arguably kept us up.

The premier league is littered with others who have done absolutely "fine" with no experience.

Unfortunately, there are more with and without experience that have been utter digshit.
I think where the PL experience comes in is for relegation fight. The others all were at top clubs, winning things and started the season with a pl club. Tudor has done jack shit in his managerial career compared to most of those you have listed.

People underestimate how much Frank fucked up these players with his cowardball. It's gonna take time to unravel and turn around that negativity

This group of players finished 17th last season. Yes they won a “European cup” against much weaker opposition (they’re also 4th this season in the CL under cowardball) but their attitude and performances in the league were terrible long before Frank.

They just don’t have the balls for a fight in this league. It’s too physical, too competitive. They’re OK in Europe where there’s space and time and it’s glamorous. Down to 10 against palace though? Give up. Surrender.

They don’t have the inherent quality to have this attitude so that’s why we’re here. We’re not here because of Frank - he coached them poorly but him being negative isn’t why they’re so crap now.

Well put. It's ultimately on the owners. Ange and Frank are partly to blame though. But impossible to ignore the players just don't have the right attitude. It's all around us every week.

What is wrong with starting:

Vicario
Porro Romero VdV Spence
Sarr Gray Paulinha
Tel Solanke Richarlison

Surely that is as close to our best team in Europe.
