Do you know, that's not a bad idea. They seem to have egos big enough to think they could do it. But then who gives them a rollicking when they cock up or get sent off? Vicario or Porro?![]()
Palace at home who are not in great shape without their best two CBs abd then lose their wide man after 15 mins. Cmon we should have got something from that game if we had anything about us.Maybe. Feel like we're damned if we do, damned if we don't. Everyone said the same about Tudor's first game but I think if we'd had a kinder fixture we might've actually got a bit of a new manager bounce. That 4-1 battering instantly broke the players' confidence in him and his system.
If we bring in someone new and they get pasted in 2 v.difficult fixtures then instantly the players are feeling down about them, the fans are on their back - it's a shit start.
Maybe you sack Tudor and put Bruno in charge as caretaker for 1 game while the new guys are getting their foot in the door?
Given our season whatever we decide to do it will be the wrong decision.
Just give him Sherwood, sherringam , Ledley as backroom teamWe need an upbeat "feels" man.
We can't have any of;
1) Miserable authoritarian shouters
2) Absolute nobodies
3) Anyone our cunt squad thinks is "below" them
It had to be someone who comes with a smile, can lie to the players well enough to convince them that they're good and can leave in the summer, is well known to the squad and is/was well respected within the game.
To me, it can't NOT be Redknapp at this stage.
He can like to the tax man, he can smile when he slags Bent off for missing a sitter, he's well known to the majority of the squad and fans and media, and he's not going to do anything stupid. Simple tactics. Players in the right position. Put some effort in and "run abaaaaht a bit"
Do i think putting a 79 year old in is a good idea?
Not really.
But give me a better option today, that could actually happen?
What were the board thinking. It’s gross incompetence giving this guy the job. He has only managed about 130 games in his managerial ‘career’ if you can call it that. Which over 12 years i think so his hardly been employed as a manager in that time. He is useless. This guy has to go!
It’s bonkers bringing in someone that was going to change to 3ATB.
We need someone to come in and hugely simplify the system, put players in their best position, make us hard to beat and look to lift the funk around the joint.
And a manager who has been sacked 6 times , managed ONLY approx 130 games in his entire managerial career does know about modern football!Tha Redknapp shouts are funny, all the players are gonna see an 80 year old walk into the changing room who has no idea about modern football, not many of these players know who Redknapp is.

i have had a good dance to everything she wants. no shame!
May be they should do the same nowAnd it sounds like ‘he’ won because the players ignored his instructions.
But that bounce was not in a relegation fight. Plus we don’t know if they had games in hand, what fixtures they had left, etc. context matters. It’s like say Nuno got forest into Europe last season or some thing. In fairness to Tudor .
He got a “ bounce “ out of Juventus. ; and got them into the Champions League.
That kinda stuff matters to the people who , unfortunately, happen to own our Club .
Lightning hasn’t struck twice .
Don’t blame him ; blame them .
The only reason for keeping this cunt around even an hour longer is so he can take the inevitable hiding at Anfield. If they aren’t talking to potential candidates right now and telling them to be ready to go Monday morning thenholy fucki wouldn't be at all surprised because we're a fucking clown show now

Time and time again people on here show a lack of measured thought.
The thing with that spell was why couldn’t we still compete in the league? Why did we need to bin it off. Most top teams will try to do as well as they can in all comps. Palace didn’t exactly fold whilst winning the fa cup. I don’t recall many teams doing similar as we did. We should still trued to maintain our league form.100%. Ange wasn't the only problem at Spurs, far from it. But it's a indisputable fact that all this losing started under him. Before Ange came along, we had been a top 8/6/4 side for a very long time.
Ange took a team that was used to finishing in the top 6 basically for fucking ages, and took the team down to 17th in his second season.
And I am sorry but everyone can stick the Europa League up their arse, give me retaining our PL status over that any day of the week.
I said it at the time, winning a trophy does not make up for all the shit we were seeing at this club, and the alarm bells were ringing loudly under Ange last season. People wanted to ignore it, and pointed to winning a trophy at the end of it. Many even suggested giving him a third season which was madness.. Winning a trophy means fuck all in the grand scheme of things. We were a dogshit football side who won a trophy and we are still a dogshit football side now. That was the start and end of it.
Now look where we are. A fat lot of good that trophy has done for the club.
The problems go much deeper than just Ange, but it's a fact that the huge fall off in our form started under him. So he surely has to take a huge amount of responsibilty for that.
How vin and Lange can still go into the club offices / work daily is beyond me. Either they have no shame or are laughing inside at the great work they have done in destroying our football club.Rumours of all sorts going on behind the scenes. Apparently he has almost no relationship with the players already. Just a giant clusterfuck to add to the pile.
Wish there was someone big enough at the club to him out of his misery.Poor bloke is basically being thrown into the meat grinder for Anfield. And maybe the rest of the season.
bin the vin and put his bottle of cheap red in there with himI've no idea if he should go or not. I've no clue of who would be a better option. The mess isn't on him and he hasn't been helped by the players at all but it's a tough decision now whether to stick or twist one last time.
Personally, I think if he has to go then Lange and Vinai should go now too. They're not Spurs. They're not good enough for Spurs. Get rid asap.
One thing I will say is that I'm not sure I'm comfortable with the grief he's getting for not cuddling Kinsky on his way off yesterday. I wanted him trying to sort out the mess on the pitch, not making sure Kinsky feels ok.
There's been a pile on this manager since his appointment. English media snobbery at its most obvious.
