Manager Igor Tudor

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

What is wrong with starting:

Vicario
Porro Romero VdV Spence
Sarr Gray Paulinha
Tel Solanke Richarlison

Surely that is as close to our best team in Europe.
That midfield for starters, is an absolute travesty.

You know what I wish our managers would get through their thick heads, you can concede goals and still win a game of football, you cannot not score goals and win a game of football.

Playing any midfield of that sort of composition whilst Xavi sits on the bench should be a sackable offence, it doesn't matter which 3 forwards you pick, it will take a miracle for them to provide a goal threat with a midfield as stodgy as that behind them, as none of our forwards are particularly creative themselves.

I won't melt over Tudor not being sacked this morning. It's a completely reasonable option to let him take the arrows at Liverpool and sack him immediately after. If we get nothing from the scouse and he's in charge for Forest, yes. There should be an uprising.
If he loses 5 on the bounce with no real sign of improvement then he has to go. The players will feel the same that this ain’t working.

This is the most obvious set up for a sacking ever.

I don't know if they just don't want the new guy to have his first game at anfield, if they need more time to get his coaching staff, or if they're so clueless they genuinely don't know what to do. Probably a combination.
I assume they know we will get spanked and don't want a similar situation to the Woolwich game. Let Tudor take the hit then can him and get a new guy in for Madrid and Forest.

People talk about losing the dressing room and so on, but I don't think we'll have seen it to the level that I expect we'll see against Liverpool since AVB lost his job.

The self-sabotage and also intentional red cards are so reminiscent of that era, and I think people forget how bad it was and think that AVB could have stayed.

Discipline going is always a sure fire sign things have gone completely. I think we had 3 red cards in Ramos last 2 games.

Yeah I think it's the biggest sign of problems. Hard not to think it's intentional when it's an easy way to hide from the fight

Talking of having no part in it, Kulu and Maddison will be in rehabilitation watching managers go by like the showcase showdown on the generation game. Imagine saying you've not played under at least 2 managers whilst you've been injured

Still think both. Let Redknapp deal with the media, do the arms around the shoulders schtick and pre match team talk, let Mason just take the training with a couple of others. Not expecting much difference now as its all too late but might give us a punchers chance.
This is the logical answer and I think it would go well. Mason got the sack at west brom but the underlying numbers were really good. The players were just shit and got wayyy worse once he left. He’d get this team playing well enough to survive and redknapp would just be fun to see back for vibes

He'll be gone after Liverpool that's the likely plan, if we were playing a mid table team next he'd have been sacked yesterday. He can take that whupping and then the board will bring in Dyche or whoever to oversee the return leg vs Atleti and then the game that will likely decide our season at home vs Forrest.
