It could also go the complete other way.
The pricks officiating the game could well make an example of us. If this season has proven anything, it's that the crooked bastards can literally do what they want and get away with it.
I could see Oliver booking Romero tomorrow for literally nothing. And then what? He's suspended for 2 games and you can't appeal yellows. Why? Because the rules say so, and they can't ever change a terrible rule. Accept they do, all they time. But only when it suits them.
My understanding is he's on 8 yellow cards in the league, so a booking against Forest wouldn't lead to that 2 game ban. If he gets booked against Forest and then again in the following league game (Sunderland) he'll have accumulated 10 yellow cards and that will lead to the ban as they all fall within game week 32 (which is the cut off).

In other words, he just needs to play one of the next two games without receiving a yellow card to avoid that ban.

If he gets one against Forest, Igor may need to decide whether to play him against Sunderland and risk him missing two more games, or rest him.

Yes surely we would may be performed even better if Porro was playing where Souza was so that he could naturally cross the ball from out wide. Put spending at rb and Souza lb. That was the most obvs thing to do. Sometime even if you play half decent or get a result doesn’t mean things couldn’t be done better. I think in every game he has handicapped us in one way or another.

I'm not going to lie.

Porro is a player I really want out of Spurs.

He's the worst fucking right back we have had for 30 years in my opinion.

I'm coming at it from the perspective of actually being able to defend first and foremost.

Simple stuff.

Picking up an opposition player when out of possession running back towards your own goal.

Taking up a position where a player either goes down the line or inside; where you want him to go.

That sort of thing.

The only thing I am prepared to give Porro any credit for is that he is capable of the odd brilliant cross into the box and long diagonal through ball.

Those two things have been thin on the ground for the last 18 months.

I'm sick of the cunt.

His mutiny against the supporters finished me with the twat.

He isn't Spurs any more.

If he has to play; play him wide right up top.

Let Spence do the defending.

Also Spence wasn't "wide" - he was playing as a left back.

Yes I’ve gone right off him this season

Get rid!

Just watched his press conference and he’s polite to the journalists until Matt Law asks a question and you can tell he already realises he’s an utter prick. The look on his face tells the story before he even answers the question. 😂

No idea how tomorrow pans out, but beating a team like Athetico, in a week when 3 of the PL teams lost their second legs, just enables Tudor to say, if you listen to me, and give your all......

Time is a beast but unless there is some kind of weird freakery, this time in 24 hours might have some of us in raptures or in the pit of despair.

I loved his response to it:

"I don't recognise the guy who I spend 10 hours with every day?! So I come out and don't know he is? It was a little bit ridiculous"

The guy does not give a shit.

The amount of Spurs fans who genuinely believed he mistook Dixon for Slot is possibly the most worrying thing about this entire season. That fuckwit BillieT boosting this shit for the grift :roflmao:

If you genuinely believe this then you really shouldn’t be allowed around sharp objects or naked flames.

I'd take all three over Porro defensively.

Porro is shit at defending.

He plays every game to keep his mate Romero company.

Doherty had about as much defensive nous as your average plant pot and he was far less tenacious and technically gifted than Porro.

Emerson yes was better defensively, but destroyed build up and parked himself extremely deep because of how limited he was.

Aurier on his day could tackle but equally he could give away two penalties, get a red card and take three foul throws.

Porro all round is better than all of them - he is a Spain international and very good technically.
