You mean FOR the next five years surely!

:mourthumb:
Surely every OTHER year at best? (Bearing in mind WINNING it would mean PROMOTION to the PL.... followed by RELEGATION, followed by WINNING it again!)
With all the will in the world, we can only win it 3 times maximum!
Even WE can't beat the Pyramid system!

Don’t be pessimistic

Not allowed on here

Yes, of course they will.

The Premier League will only exist in name less than 15 years from now when United, Liverpool, Chelsea, and City fuck off to the European Super League. It'll be us, Woolwich (though the cunts are likely to find some disreputable way to attain a call up), and Everton bossing a "second tier" premier league then.

I'd take it, honestly. Hell, we might even enjoy football again, then.

The club would still fuck it up

I don't dispute what you're saying but I actually think the PL have big enough balls these days to say to those teams "if you fuck off and do this, you'll never come back, you'll be cut off"
I believe it's already been suggested too.

Would their (paying) fans be happy never going to a PL away game? Never seeing a Derby? Knowing that all their games are governed by a European body.
The game they're used to, fast paced hard tackling premier league, will become a yellow card a minute non contact pile of steaming turd that suits Barcelona to the ground.

Not a fucking chance, possibly without levy involved though ....probably still more of a fantasy as we love to fuck up opportunities given to us
Our chance was probably when ENIC took over from Sugar really. That chance went when Abramovic bought Chelsea, knocked us back years and started a trend of huge money clubs around the world.

Our chance was a few years back when we managed to finish 3rd in a 2 horse race.

That really came out of nowhere though. No one expected the usual contenders to be so shit that year that 2 teams who are never anywhere near it could be near the top.
It's still embarrassing thinking back to how we managed to finish 3rd in a 2 horse race too, so thanks for that.

No.
We had the best opportunity to win the title 5 seasons or so ago and we blew it blaming players and manager,
Since then new stadium cost and excuses, lack of investment in the team, buying cheap and cheerful players then selling them resulting in a poor squad to compete for top trophies.
With dic levy not leaving any time soon makes winning the tittle not possible.

There is a logic behind some of the clubs timing. We could have spent 200-300m on players 2 years ago and we would not have beaten City or Liverpool over the previous 2 seasons.

We spent big in the last 2 windows and got in a new coach. We can see City decline as some of their players age and Liverpool may enter a period of transition after this season if indeed Mane and Salah are sold as rumoured. United are carrying too much dead wood and Roman seems to have lost the desire to open his checkbook at Chelsea.

So, next season could indeed prove a good chance for us to have a crack at the league title.

1.And our current form on the pitch is second to none. We can defend and score freely.
2. We can't buy a win.
3.We are 8th in the table.
4. We haven't lost since covid 19.
Based on the above, "So, next season could indeed prove a good chance for us to have a crack at the league title."
Cuckoo Land. 😁

We couldn't even have a go at a crack in a wall.
