I think he's gone regardless and the only reason he's still here is because his replacement can't start until the summer and Levy doesn't want the ignominy of appointing Mason caretaker a second time. This could also be just wishful thinking.

I think you’re spot on here - Ange will get sacked in the summer end of season by ‘mutual consent’. Plus if Levy sacks him before season finish then the spotlight is very much on Levy and ENIC for a few months until the summer and he won’t want that.

Man Utd finished 8th last season on 60 points, if we were in that position I think there would be far more calls for patience, he would probably still have half or more of the fanbase behind him.

I would hope Levy has also been watching United's car crash of a season this season and could learn from another PL team's very recent example of showing faith in a manager who was clearly already a dead man walking. I really don't think the EL will save Ange.

We aren't man united.

If we win it they'd obviously be an open bus parade with ange .
And levy would be handing out the omega watches to him and staff at the summer BBQ with ange giving a speech

He'd only just end up getting sacked around Christmas, with a interim until the end of the world cup

We finished 5th in his first season. We were 5th going into that Chelsea game. Who is to blame for injuries seems open to interpretation and very much dependant on which player is being referred to. Vicario's injury was most definitely down to the manager for example, as was Romero's.

The manager alone decided to play him before he was fit enough. Trying to blame the medical team is just more excuses. The medical team had no input into that decision, it was solely on the manager

Players returning from injury don't need time to build up fitness and sharpness. Yet more excuses. Equally, players playing none stop for months on end need time to recover? Rubbish!

But anyway, yes, he's been out of his depth since arriving and I'm sick and tired of hearing excuse after excuse about this, that and the other. We should never have hired him. We should never have signed any of the players in the squad. We should also have kept Hojbjerg, Royal and Dier... True captains.

#angeout!
