Also, let's note the hand waving and sleight of hand in general here:
Refereeing errors and inconsistencies aren't acknowledged; only VAR "mistakes".
Leave a lot of blind space for the overall performance. What constitutes a mistake? The referee outcome? Not referring to the ref? The VAR missing something? The VAR's advice? Not even checking on VAR? Missed penalties? Incorrect application of handball thresholds?
It won't include stuff the VAR doesn't get involved in. Goal kicks given as corners and vice versa, missed fouls, not giving 2nd yellows or incorrect yellows. Not telling Toni Pulizio to get back in his white box
