The main thing the press are hating right now is that there are two dignified men placed 1st and 2nd in the League. This has to be pissing them off, they thrive on the shit slinging Maureen and Wenger were always good value.

On a side note, it's fucked me off for ages is when a manager "plays mind games" and the press then right about how whatever was said is supposed to be mind games, yet they never ask beyond that. Ranieri buys a pizza, for some unknown reason this is supposed to be amazing news so let's writes about it for a week, the following week press then say how amazing Ranieri is for deflecting the pressure away from the players by talking about pizzas. Yet no one in the press pack says, fuck off Ranieri and you boring bastard, no one wants to know about your pizzas let's talk about football.

It doesn't help that they have to give conferences before and after every single game.

just wish they talked about football. I mean how hard can that be? Biggest problem this country has is it has a limited understanding of the game, the majority of post match stuff centres on was it or wasn't a pen/yellow/red card. Hardly any talk about the game. No surprise that Nevile became a hit, genuinely the only man to do it in twenty years, how poor is that?
Pre-match on the other hand is just a waste of time, no manager is going to say how they are going to set-up so really what is the point, other than an injury update and even then that is usually "he is close but we will assess him".
I'm getting old aren't I?
:memeokay:

Dunno why you lot join forces with the gutter press who have hounded Van Gaal since he got the job while kissing Wenger and "Jose's" arse!! The media are the enemy of Spurs as we can see with the campaign to ban Delli Alli for a tiny incident which even the WBA player didn't react to during or after the game (neither did Pulis).

King Louis should be lauded for his comments that "The referees are changing the games not the players" for which BBC quickly ended the interview. Anyone watching Spurs every week will see the hostile officiating we have to put up with, while Chelsea, Liverpool and Woolwich can dive any get free kicks all day long.

Some of you lot make me laugh!

Do you not see his interactions? I don't think he is a prick because of what I read in the papers, I see his pre and post match interviews, and they way he conducts himself during the match. He is an utter tool, yesterday's man in my opinion.

An opinion fuelled by my own thoughts, not what someone else told me to think.

For consistency I also think that Jose and Wenger are pricks too.

This interview is amazing.

Did he just talk about pulling hair being alright in sex but not in football?

"Every human being who is grabbed with the hair, with sex masochisme then it is allowed - but not in other situations. And I did it, I did it several times I think "

Putting aside the sexual masochisme comments I completely agree with him. Huth 100% has to be banned, all media is focussing on however is Felani's elbow.

Huth is a complete embarrassment. Hair pulling? Jesus Christ. I don't like Fellaini at all but if anyone deserves a dig in the chops, it's some hair pulling weirdo. He should hang his head in shame. Cunt.

Van Gaal trying to see how many times he can contradict himself:

"I'm a coach, a manager who would rather have some authority but every day the players can read it, what do you think about my authority as well? What do you think about the way they want to follow my advice when the coach is shown like a nobody?" said Van Gaal at United's end-of-season awards ceremony.

But I am not like that. I am very arrogant. I am one of the best managers in the world.

When the media is writing for six months I am sacked already... I can cope with that. It is not new for me. For my players, it is not so easy.

I am happy to give the fans a final. Expectations are too high.

We are in a period of transition. It is not so easy. We have to meet the expectations of the biggest club in the world."
