Today, I can only assume he slept in the first half and just saw the scoreline at half time as the genius could 'only see one winner' with 'Villa the better team'.
Yes you may argue that case. I personally don't. Thought we were sucker punched but we'll move on to full time.
Here the expert 'didn't see the [our] performance coming' but now we have to cut out the defeats like the Palace one. Again, pretty obvious but City lost to Bournemouth yesterday and do you think he adopts the same line with them?!
Apparently the game changed with Rogers going off as it 'made Villa lose their threat' despite them having no threat all the second half before he went off in the 69th minute. They didn't have a shot on target all second half.
My point is the guy just parrots lazy, often untrue, narratives incredibly earnestly. I always get the feeling he doesn't watch any other football away from games he is working on and just checks the talking points online.
