Aye fuckin right! Mega Exclusive?? Mega Bus ticket collector written by more like...

Levy is not gonna let that happen, especially for that amount and in this window.
Heck, I genuinely believe Lloris - himself - will want to be here at Spurs next season.

What striker do you think we could get? For the system Poch plays he will want a target man who can hold the ball up well and is technically good. How about Jurgen Locadia? He fits the bill quite nicely is young isnt the finished article so wouldn't mind not being 1st choice, let Poch work his magic!

Not sure, he always looked a good talent but has never really bloomed even in the eredivisie, he only has 4 goals this season which isn't exactly fantastic but you never know, he might come out good in a league that may suit him better

If the story in the sun was a paul jiggins story then I might be inclined to believe their is a bit of truth in it as he seems to be the spurs main reporter and a spurs fan. But it's not so it's probably just a stab in the dark which is to be expected at this time of year.

If they are referring to the summer though, then I think we all know the reality.
Hugo has done his bit, he is in his 3rd season, he has signed a new contract so we can get a big fee, he is not just a world class keeper he is in the top 3 in the world. As hard as it is too take, we are a club that can't accommodate world class players and we are a selling club. The guy doesn't just deserve to be playing in a side thats in the champions league, his talent deserves to be in a team that should be winning it.
We all know the reality, we've been down this road before, he is gone in the summer. Let's just enjoy his brilliance whilst he is here.

I don't disagree that Hugo is brilliant, but I disagree that the only true home for top players are CL clubs.

Say it like it is - it is the money driving it-

Your right the money is probably the main thing. The fact still remains, we can't accommodate world class players, in terms of finance or ambition.
This is hugo's 3rd season. He has given it his all, he has signed a 4 year deal so we can get maximum price for him, he has done everything he possibly can do. If he could help us win a trophy it would be a magnificent send off in the summer.

So according to the Telegraph...Tottenham Hotspur are considering cashing in on goalkeeper Hugo Lloris, 28, who they would expect around £25m for. Paris St-Germain and Real Madrid are both understood to be monitoring the situation. (Sun)
I'm considering being an astronaut...

Portuguese daily A Bola have reported on Monday that Tottenham are tracking Sporting Lisbon right-back Miguel Lopes.

Links between Spurs and Lopes aren’t all that new.

The 28-year-old defender was thought to be close to a move to White Hart Lane back in 2014 after Lopes returned to Lisbon after a spell on loan at Lyon.

A Bola are pretty thin on details of Spurs’ interest in Lopes now, only saying that the Lillywhites are assessing the health of the full-back after a recent injury.

It’s unknown whether Spurs would like to sign Lopes on either a loan deal or a permanent transfer.

Lopes has made four appearances for the Portugal national team.

It's £35m minimum, and if it's someone like Real Madrid, it's more like £50m. Once again the press embarrasses itself with ludicrous under-valuations of Spurs player. See, for example, Carrick, Berbatov and Bale all of whom they called hopelessly wrong time and time again.

PS it's £100m to Chelsea, plus a signed photo of their physio. They can send that to me as I'm madly in love with her :)

I am a cosmonaut , comrade.
Hopefully bollocks , as it would be suicidal to sell him , but as we have such
a track record of cashing in on our best , then you can't blame them
printing this speculation/truth/crap .

Yes but remember when Bale and Modric were not for sale...

As much as I dont want to agree with Justin, I think he has a point. And Hugo, being the quiet professional type, would be a hero if he did leave in the summer.

Cant help think that is the reason we signed a top keeper in Vorm, to learn and train with the likes of Brad and Lloris for a couple of seasons and then step up to the plate.

Why else would such a talent be happy to sit on the bench? And he really looks happy and engaged when you see him the background.

Would hate to see Lloris go, but having Vorm will definitely soften the blow.

Always thought Lloris would leave but my feeling is that it would be in the summer and it would be for £30 million at least thats why I am confused by this story, no way is Levy going to take £25 million for easily one of the best keepers on planet Earth and seems odd mid season.
