Rabiot in January
Would be nice. Can't afford him, yet you never know.
Serge may tempt him.
Don't let those wankers down the road get him.
Apparently his mother is making three conditions on him signing a new contract
1: PSG must have an exciting project
2: he must be playing in his correct position, left of the central midfield
3: PSG must buy a new defensive midfielder

Sounds like we could offer that.
He's a fantastic player now. He'd be perfect for us. If only.

He'd be a lovely Dembele replacement but unfortunately that ship has sailed. He's started every game I think this season and been impressive. He'll get a new deal.

He's currently at the club that is neither fighting relegation nor finishing in high end of the table, it's hard to stay motivated bring your A game on weekly basis. Under Pochettino he'll instantly go 3 levels up and become borderline world class.

On a side note, I really hope he's downing his tools just to lower his asking price so that more clubs like us, Monaco, Roma etc could afford his fee in the next window.

He brought his A game two years ago when survival was all that was required at Leicester. Why not now?

So if he refuses to bring his a-game in every game why should we sign him?

I don't expect every spurs player to play the perfect game every game. But I expect them to give it the perfect try each and every game. No matter the opposition.

Barkely has got fantastic potential. A couple of years ago he looked like the dogs nuts. Since then I'd like to think that he lost concentration. It now appears that he wants to join us/Poch to get his England career back on track, which means he's sorted out the mental side of things. Otherwise he'd be at Chavs by now.

Poch has improved so many of our players, if he does the same with RB, then we will have some player on our hands and another mainstay of the England team.

And horrible as it is to contemplate, we have to plan for a time when Christian E gets the call from Barcelona. One day the penny will drop with them that he is a better fit than Coutinho. No lack of loyalty with CE, but he's not English, he hasn't come through the Academy so he won't have the same attachment to the club.

Barkely in Jan makes a lot of sense.
