I'd admit there is a chance Rose might never return to that form of 2015-2017 when he was pretty much one of the 5 best LBs on the planet.
As for Davies, he's currently as good as he will ever get, ability-wise just not good enough for a team with ambitions to compete for highest honors.
If Rose is to be sold in the summer, we should be replacing him with young talented LB that has world class potential like Tierney, Henrichs, Gaya or Sessegnon.
Well Tierney is exactly who I suggested ... or rather supported Vince in that. There is no way he will stay at Celtic, he is headed for a big club next summer at the latest.
Why can't Davies get better? He won't reach his peak for another 3 years.
He lacks pace and his technique is extremely average. He's also a suspect on 1v1 defending.

Since Walker left , Eriksens form has dropped, Dele's form has plummeted, the whole side has looked a shadow of the team we witnessed last season, Europe apart. I think its clear to see if you allow one of your best players to double his money elsewhere, other members of the squad are going start getting itchy feet and turning their heads too. If you want hard evidence, look at the league table. Or keep burying your nut in the sand as you always do.
