Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Looking forward to his petulance and defensive laziness costing them goals, though.

Should make for fun analysis on MotD...

Edit: they'll also be stuck with a declining pace player within two years.

I have watched German football regularly for the past few seasons, and IMHO Aubameyang is one of the most complete strikers around. Electric quick, great control, terrific shooting accuracy and a great header. I was desperate for Woolwich deal to fall through. If he arrives hitting the ground running he'll be a real weapon.

I totally agree but I'm still on here every 5 minutes checking this shit

In that case, it sure would be terrible if Eric Dier broke his leg in the NLD...

You can literally type any players name in Twitter and you get so many rumours.

Saw a few tweets saying Llorente may be leaving. Searched it.. so far he’s going to -

Chelsea in a swap for Batshuayi. Both on loan until the summer.

Celtic in a swap for Dembele.

Roma in a swap for Dzeko.

Completely different situation. Gareth Bale was 24, not 17. Gareth Bale had been transitioned from a fullback to an attacking winger/mid/striker for multiple full seasons, not a couple of months. Gareth Bale had won PFA player of the year, FWA player of the year, Premier League player of the year, and was included in the World XI - he had completely maxed his value, Sessegnon has barely scratched the surface of his. Bale, due to his development, had signed multiple contract extensions previously and reached a point where Spurs could realistically no longer keep him within the financial budget of the club.

The whole "Bale forced a move" narrative is tired and untrue. Spurs were more than happy to sell him to Madrid at a world record fee, and there was no fight to try and retain him. The transfer dragged out over particulars and how much exactly Madrid would pay and when. He didn't play during this period because neither side wanted to risk an injury.

To compare Madrid's ability to sign Bale in 2013 to our ability to sign Sessegnon today is, frankly, laughable.
that wasn't the point I was making, and I never said Bale forced the move. The point I was making is that with ANY player if they want to move to a bigger/better club they will get the move eventually through either going on strike or agreeing to play 1 more year or whatever other reason. With Sessegnon, yes hes young but could be sold for any number of reasons. 1 contract has 2 yrs left so the shorter the contract the lower the price. 2 As said before, player happiness (he seems happy where he is at mo. 3 Risk of injury. 4 Wages.
So do Fulham want to be in a woolwich situation next season?
Also IMO we are as far above Fulham if not more as Madrid are above us, so to say that we dont have to the ability to sign Sessgnon is in your words frankly laughable.

If Llorente is off, and I wouldn't miss him, then surely....SURELY a replacement has to be lined up?
