Not having a go just curious, as we all know abramovich wanted to buy spurs but it was too expensive, and there was loads of people unhappy he didnt. I agree it would be selling our soul but Spurs are my team for richer or poorer
apparently they have signed some kid for new york city for 5 million and loaned him straight to middlesborough
so its a 20 million transfer to middlesborough for that kid in 2 yrs time

I'd imagine he'd fall out of love with the sport and wouldn't be the only fan we have who would be disillusioned with it all. Some people would love it, some of us wouldn't.
I think the point is that Kane, by far, is the exception to the rule. Footballers, like most people, have a lot of factors to consider in a transfer - and, like most of us, the money is probably the largest factor. In the main, people in all walks of life follow the money.
Leicester won the title and players were still clamouring to get off the ship...because, money. PSG routinely signs top talent despite having nothing of substance to offer in a footballing sense...because, money. Woolwich have been arguably more successful recently than United, United still ripped away their greatest asset...because, money. Chelsea signed Barkley, who has no clue who his manager will be and has plenty of evidence that it's not even likely he'll feature, over a club with a proven track record of elite player development...because, money.
Most players don't give a fuck about what their trophy cabinet looks like when they retire, they care about what sort of house it's located in. Think Beckham stays up at night thinking about the trophies and legendary status he walked out on at United? Nah.
cant speak for spursdem, but i agree with that your team is your team. I would detest us being one of those clubs though. the first thing that happens is 99% of the support turns into entitled cunts.
One might argue that some supporters are already entitled c**** going by some of the comments and moaning you hear...not just here but generally.

yup. but look how quickly citeh went from being generally well liked to "we deserve this because we were shit before, its our right"..i doubt the ink was dry on the contracts, and it seemed to happen en masse

I was the only kid in my class that didnt stop supporting them when relegated in 76/77. We all love the roller coaster that is Spurs as can be seen on this forum and we are all allowed different opinions. But I'm just asking HOW unhappy will some of us be i.e. stop supporting Spurs ???

Personally, it wouldn't take much for me to fall out of love with the game completely these days. I'm already one foot out of the door. My enjoyment of football just isn't where it was 4/5 years ago, which is crazy since this is easily the best Spurs team I've seen in my life.
