I am all for promoting youth and being savvy in the market. Those are smart policies to have and we do them well and are poised to do so well in the future. It's a competitive advantage for sure.
But we'll go our whole lifetimes without two generational talents falling into our laps for nothing at almost the exact same age and time. That's a miracle, that's not a policy. Never to be repeated, as likely as getting struck by lightning twice.
Eriksen was a clever under-the-radar buy for 14m in 2013. The same deal would be 40m without breaking a sweat next summer. Like Dav was (also a clever buy). The revenues go up and up and the market gets smarter and smarter.
