I bet, seen what I have seen from Parrott, that he will do better than Son and Lucas as a striker, also he would have the surprise factor, as defenders doesn't know how he plays. But yeah, he's 17, let's just expect him turn 21 with 5 minutes of professional football and say he never had the "potencial required".

Think they are confusing our agreed (loosely) stance, that 'units' aren't the way in modern CM...

For me, heavier muscular types, like that AC Milan player, Kessie, are not ideal in high intensity.

Muscle takes more oxygen to carry, simple biochemistry stuff, so high movement is often hampered, lactic builds quicker, etc.

However, if your training and conditioning teams are extremely savvy to this then it can work well in other positions (CB, ST, AM), but FB and CM not for me...

Less profound reservations now Poch and his ways are no longer here, mind you...

‪Would you take still being at the old WHL if it meant £500m was invested in the squad?‬

No. The safe thing long term for our club was a bigger stadium. It's a pain but it's a necessary one in order to organically grow. The new stadium is massive for us & £500m spent doesn't necessarily mean ROI.

We all want success but we need to grow off the field as well. It's a corporate world we mix it with these days and commercial growth is important for our stature in the game long term. Tough but I think the money spent on the stadium is worth it far more than having teams and players pulling out pants down if we had £500m to spend. It would be impossible to consistently hold our own in modern times without either a sugar daddy or suitable infrastructure.
