What would you do if Levy did this and then reinvested in the squad a la Pool/Coutinho and we went on to win the CL next year and do (at least) the double the year after? You can do better than that. Thing is you implied that someone would have been wrong for celebrating Levy selling Kane to Woolwich i.e. it would be bad. I asked what if that contributed to our hugely successful dickslapping of the rest of England and Europe and you can't tell me how you'd feel about that?
I'd say that if these scenarios were laid before Kane that a player who truly loved the club would bite the bullet and crawl over to Woolwich for the success of the club.
I don't find it hard to have an answer for this. I know which I'd choose. You are arguing against AF that it's the club before ENIC and I totally agree. But likewise it's the club before Harry or any other player too.
