Yes, but we or someone else, wont be paying anywhere near his release clause. And isn’t it third party ownership and not image rights? Looks to me, although I’m as far from expert as I can be, that this is a much easier transfer to make than Haaland.

No, £59 million (€70 million) is his cláusula de recisión, his buy out clause, of which 30% would go to another party. Image rights don't come into it.
Real Sociedad want €25 million, around £21 million at the current exchange rate. We're low-balling as per usual with an offer of £10 million. This is from the Basque press who have their finger very much on the pulse, not some self-harmer on Twitter sitting in soiled Y-fronts
