Levy is buying young talent with high potential. It’s going to take multiple windows to revamp and flip the squad. So far through 2 windows he’s done a good job. There’s no need to rush and make bad decisions like paying 30m for Piatek. There will be better strikers available in the summer.

We have Parrott, Son, Lucas and Bergwijn, we shouldn’t force ourselves to spend on a bad player just because of an injury. The idea of paying £30m for Piatek or Jose is silly. These are players we would never target if Kane hadn’t got injured.

Just give Parrot and Skipp the game time to give them a chance to stake their places. This season is a write off anyway. We won't make those 6 points up. The home games we have left are mostly hard ones and we're dog shit away. 6 points is a lot when you can't string 2 or 3 wins together.

I understand being picky at DM, but not at ST. The player brought in at DM is meant to be in the starting 11 long term, so being careful makes sense. At ST, that player is going to be back up long term and an immediate need today.
6 month loan, chuck money at it as it won't batter us and let him join Atletio Madrid in the summer for free. It's a quick fix but it sets us up extremely well for the last 16-17 games compared to where we are now. Makes sense as we could easily make our money back if it's the difference between staying in & going out of the Champions League against Leipzig etc.
