I swear there's something horribly ironic about the way we're run: Kane's bad injury being the thing to (seemingly) finally get a proper backup striker...

And, of course, one might make the argument that doing this years ago would have helped keep Harry more injury free.
I know you’re not implying it as a 100% fact, but it wouldn’t be a guarantee by far in my opinion.

Knowing how eager (look at the CL final) Kane is, he would wanna play ‘too much’ games per season anyway, even if we have options on the bench.

He wants to play the Messi amounts of games

Put this in the other Piatek thread, but feel like it should live here:

Would that be Foyth on loan? That seems crazy to just hand over a promising youngster, in a position of need, for an unproven PL striker.

Foyth, although shaky in performances, has such a bright future that I would never think of doing such a thing.

He took Cutrone's spot right? So does that mean he'd last 6 months instead of 5?
Patrick Cutrone set to join Fiorentina after only five months at Wolves

Wary of any player from Serie A. bus-conductor bus-conductor tells me it's the place where dreams are made and the only pure football occurs but I have my doubts. Trying think of the last person that sustained their high profile after leaving that league.

Bus-conductor has never claimed the Italian league exports well, or that’s its the place where dreams are made.

But he does occasionally reminisce of the genre of football's golden vintage time of parsimonious tactical perfection that was circa 1985 Serie A, a time unfettered by gauche things like goals and crass displays of self indulgent individuality and whatnot.
