Seems a good plan to me. Wonder what Wanyama thinks - but it's a fairly non intense league these days so should suit him.

And we do need to offload a couple of overseas trained players, including one to get a place for our new Polish striker.....

Yup, this is often infuriating.

Minamino, the Japanese player Liverpool just signed, he plays great against Liverpool in a lost. No more than a few days later it seemed, he’s signed to Liverpool for less than €10m. That’s great business right there, it’s even arguable whether they need the player or not but for that fee you cannot go wrong.

If I remember correctly, the Fabinho transfers was pretty similar. It was a surprise Liverpool fans, there weren’t much rumours at all.
We can only dream of having owners like their's. Luck of the Scouse.

Piatek named in the Milan matchday squad for this weekend. Which of course does not rule out a transfer. Just that if it isn't completed before they play Cagliari that he will travel with the team.

The compromise. He is good at heading from crosses, but bad at heading from long balls.

Yep, that's pretty much it.

It's a long way to go anyway. The odds are likely to change and new players might be brought up. No reason to be panicking.

Yeah, I agree.

Will be more interesting to see if he starts or not. Him being in the squad has no bearing on whether or not he's leaving.

Morelos, even ignoring his record in Scotland, his record in the Europa League speaks volumes, put him in a better team and he'll score more.
Morelos trying his old firm antics in a NLD would be worth the fee just for the banter.

On the other side of the Old Firm there is Edouard, who is ready for a bigger stage. If Wanyama wants to go back to Celtic we could try offering him the other way to sweeten the deal.

The reason I'm not that excited about Piatek is that it looks like one of those transfers that can go either way. The guy has proven himself and has potential, but there's also the chance he might be a bust.

On the other hand, those who are already bashing him should realise it's January and it's tricky to bring in new players that can improve the team, let alone make star signings.
