I don't want just some random signing, which is why I was not that sold on signing Gedson (still am not), and don't want neither Willian Jose, Morellos or even Muriqi for that matter (which is very bizarre because I'm albanian and you'd think I would feel very proud having an albanian at Spurs). But, I've seen enough of Piatek last year, and he was just incredible. I can safely say that his goal drought this year has come from Giampaolo and Pioli being completely incompetent and Calhanoglu alongside Suso being utter rubbish who don't pass the ball.
This is my point!

You're literally advocating spending big on a guy you are saying is in the ''middle of a goal drought''.

But he's Kane's replacement?!

So you're saying you'd rather spending £100m on Paulinho, Chriches, Chadli etc. than nothing.

Then you wonder why you're laughed at?

Only person laughing is you son, Everyone else is agreeing with me on here. You are in cloud cuckoo land mate. When did I say I want to spend 100 mil on Paulinho etc? You are making stuff up now. I want ambitious owners that are willing to back the playing squad and fund the team for a fucking striker when our only one is out for the fucking season. How hard is that for you to grasp ?

They were also negotiating that for 6 months. Jose has been here for 2 months. £70m deals don’t fall out of the sky. There’s a reason why theirs been a lot of loan chatter this window.
Did you even understand what I meant? It’s not about how frequent or how much they negociated, it’s about the fact that in today’s market you pay or go home. Do you think - if we were in for van Dijk and had the money - we would have paid a record 70m for him?

so you know Piatek well do you ? He’s 24 ffs. Who’s to say he might come to the prem and set the league On fire. FYI, Van Dyke was nowhere near the established world star he is now. Liverpool took that risk and are now reaping the benefits. Spurs, the amateurs in the market take the piss and now we find ourselves struggling near midtable, go figure.

Van Dyke was bought because the Liverpool Analytics guys (recruited from Spurs a few years ago) thought he was the best CB around. They were right, and no risk taken

We already did spend frivolously on the like of Paulinho etc. is my point. Just like you are advocating now.

And it all went tits up.

''Eveyone else is agreeing with you'' - haha ok handsome.

He’s ruined, mate - blabbing about Chiriches, etc. for 100m

His goal drought has nothing to do with his skill though!
Put Kane in that Milan team, and he wouldn't have more than 10 goals. Kane is better than Piatek, but Piatek is no slouch, and is most likely much better than the other options thrown out there.

Summer 2018 says your an even bigger one
I was commenting on your post, which was non-sensical drivel. Summer 2018 was a disaster but irrelevant to your word salad.

Levy’s greatest fault is structural, not financial, and much of our challenges the past 4 years have stemmed from Poch’s control over transfers and the lack of structural decision making, not financial clout. That’s why Levy spent £135m last summer - there was basically 3 guys everyone agreed on and he got them plus a punt on Clarke.
