Lo Celso is a much more complete player than Eriksen. He's better defensively, he's a better dribbler and to be honest he's shown he's probably just as good when it comes to creating. Especially if comparing Eriksen over the last 18 months anyway.

Whether he can maintain the consistency and perform against the best clubs like Eriksen did only time will tell.

The performance midweek was very impressive, we got to see all attributes of his game. I think he’s shown he should be the first name in midfield.

Agree that it’ll be hard to find a direct Eriksen replacement. I’d like to see Grealish at Spurs.

Id genuinely rather sign a DM as Eriksens 'midfield replacement' and just use Lo Celso and Ndombele as a midfield duo to creative and move us forward.
 
We won't find a direct replacement, if we somehow sign a midfielder it should be a proper DM.

I’d go balls deep for Ndidi in the summer. Problem is it looks like Leicester will get UCL, and we’re at risk of missing out.

Sander Berge or Soumare also good options.

Why everyone is sleeping on Berge, I just don't know. I can only assume people are thinking due to his size he isn't very mobile etc.

Soumare isn't much of a DM from what I've seen.

I'd honestly go for Matic on a free and ship someone like Camavinga or Florentino Luis in to integrate them long term.

Ship Wanyama, possibly Dier off as well and get a quick fix in Matic on a free and a shit hot youngster to bed them in over a year or so.
 
I'm aware that I'm in the minority but all I really care about is signing an imposing dm.

With lo celso , winks, n'dombele plus lamela out wide we have enough creative midfielders (I'm aware many dont have faith in winks but he has a pass in him). Even striker wise I'm happy playing son up there if we have a limited budget because we lack control and fight in midfield.

Sissoko offered physicality but positionally was all over the place and dier cant keep up.

We need someone to hold, sweep up and keep it simple this defending the defence and letting other play. This would release both full backs and offer us more control in games.
