His contract is up in 18 months in any case.I was suprised it didnt work out for him at Leicester. I'm willing to take a punt.
Hes proved himself in France and Portugal now.

We just didn’t want him on the terms offered. I think Levy is terrified of signing more driftwood. He wants genuine talent that we can easilymoveturn a profit on, if necessary.
As I said, its patching up a fucking great hole in your squad with an attacking midfielder, nothing moreA false nine is not a position an individual player plays, it is an entirely different way of setting up a team.
And it's probably pretty incompatible with Mourinhoball
No solid proof. But I believe the super rich clubs have hoovered up alot of talent for big fees. Of which alot of them havnt lived up to the hype. They are now stuck with huge wage bills and players they dont need on big wages that no other clubs are prepared to pay.
Think wanyama x 10.

Moreles at Rangers is trending because his car was suspected to be tampered with in Glasgow last night.
We should go in for him. His discipline record has been much better this year and his hugely talented.
I know he wanted to leave last year, not sure now but after last night the deal might be easier than usual.
He's fucking shite and can't even get near Leicesters squadHes a good player.
But he belongs to Leicester. Would they let us have him when we shafted them with Bergwijn?
It means they're good players that we can sell when they become better players.True, but isn’t that one and the same thing?
If we can turn a profit it means they are good players.
Since the hertha announcement, his approval ratings on the forum have gone down by 72%. Forecasts suggest if we make another attempt to sign him, his approval rating is expected to rise by at least 50%.The sad thing about this is it seems we actually wanted the player. More importantly Jose wanted the player. Otherwise why pursue him.
Yet, for whatever reason, we've lost out to.......Hertha Berlin!
:mourfacepalm:
That's probably the main reason.I don't understand why we seem so adamantly opposed to finding a new permanent option at striker, unless Mourinho just thinks he can find a better option in the summer. Kane is wonderful, one of the best in the world - when he plays. And that's the problem with him.
At this point I feel he is what he is. Not his fault, but I can't remember a season anymore which wasn't significantly negatively impacted or even derailed due to an injury of his. He has the talent to be the first name on the team sheet, but not the health. He and the club both need to accept that he needs a peer more than an understudy at this point, or we should wait until he's healthy again and move on when his value crests again.
If that's how you judge if Mourinho wanted a player I think he wants about 6 strikers in this window then, which seems a bit much. The sad thing about this is it seems we actually wanted the player. More importantly Jose wanted the player. Otherwise why pursue him.

In which case 0 out of 6 is poor going. If that's how you judge if Mourinho wanted a player I think he wants about 6 strikers in this window then, which seems a bit much.
