There were murmurs of this, but apparently just a loan. Ironically, that's probably where we would have wanted an obligation to buy.

I'm not excusing Levy and Spurs. We've run Harry into the ground. But buying some tree trunk with legs isn't going to help. And we'll just have another random player in our squad that we can't sell in a year's time.

We don't need to sell him in a years time - we need a Kane replacement available at all times

Moved all the deadwood and signed some exciting young talent.. Mou has spent his year off scouting by the looks of it and knows exactly who he wants

Fair enough. I suppose there always is, if you're willing to pay. Looks like you'll have to shell out more than £85 million to land the likes of Richarlison.

I just don't want us to buy a shit player for the sake of buying a player.

I'm not excusing Levy or Spurs. We've run Harry into the ground, overplayed him, and now we're mildly screwed. People need to realise we're genuinely at risk of curtailing his career. We *are* the Harry Kane team, and we need to get back to being Spurs again.

But *that* was the mistake. Wasting money on poor players in January just compounds it.

That's part of being a manager at any club that is not owned by an oil state. You cannot have everything.

I'd rather sign nobody than someone shit who we will be lumbered with for 4 years. If the right deal can be done then do it, if not, try again in the summer. Parrott is still here waiting for his chance.

What was foolish was letting Llorente go in the summer and not replacing him, January is not normally the time to sign good strikers. We can't fix all our problems in this window.

I'm still happy with that and Parrott as emergency 'throw smeone on', rather than Giroud personally.

Son is now 2 in 2 and has a fairly good goals ratio, just need to aim for his chest, not contesting headers up against 6ft3 defenders...
