You're right- we're better off without a striker for the rest of the season..

We're better off playing Son, Dele or Lucas if you compare their goal scoring record to a Janssen or Rasaik or don't you remember those 'must have another striker' signings? For the new fans not understanding the stupidity of desperate last minute striker signings is perhaps understandable, but you should know better.

See you didn't answer the question yet again - who would you sign that guarantees us top four?

Signing a decent striker is obviously better than not signing one, signing a crap one is pointless.

like you said, Stockholm syndrome mate. Any excuse to stick up for Levy. Just unbelievable how anybody can be content with no striker. Ruining Harry Kanes career with the way we manage him. They are an utter shambles this club. #levyout
It’s misleading to compare this window with the last five or six windows though.

Because the last few years we had back up for Kane.
The manager deemed they wasn’t worth minutes, unless Kane was already injured.
Too late to protect Kane, and too late to develop them as players. Especially when he is on record saying takes a player “18 months to two years” to show their full quality.
Yet in that time he probably gave Janssen two full games on the spin.

Then he sold them. And didn’t target a striker.

99% of Spurs fans didn’t want Kane rested.
Congratulations you got what you wanted.

Kane was injured 1st January right?
That it’s come to this is farcical.

Especially as the club clearly felt there was a need with us going bollocks in for Dybala in the summer and stringing free agent Llorente along as long as possible until he got a double time deal in Naples. If we felt we needed someone then, why not having something lined up so we could tease something into play at the end of 2019?

I am ready to be disappointed again
