The brothers who do the Spurs shown on YouTube did a really deep dive in to his stats on Friday. Hats off for the work.
His tackles per game were very low vs our current crop of players. But they highlighted that Sporting spend a lot of time with the ball in games so there's no one to tackle.
They then separated his champions league stats from his league stats and his tackles per game went up considerably. So maybe he's not weak at tackles, just doesn't need to very often.

What stood out was his "xA" vs ours. Royal and Doc were like 0.03 per game which, over 38 league games means they're likely to get just over an assist a season. 1. Per season.

Porro averages an xA of about 0.5pg or 19 per season.
It was a crazy stat.
 
Why not offer Inter €5m to take Skriniar on loan till end of the season? They get something and save on his wages for a player they’re already resigned to losing on a free in a few months. We get the type of defender who significantly increases our chances of winning FA CUP/CL or making top 4.

I’m afraid that is the case. We would never approach a club, ask “how much for this player?” and then just agree to that. Always trying to haggle.

Just like every other club does for every other player. We’re not different or special in this, everyone does it.
 
Worth remembering that with Danjuma and Porro thats 2 foreign trained players over the UEFA limit that we currently cant include in our CL squad. No idea who they'll leave out, Gil and Sarr probably knowing the manager. We could really do with shifting Moura and one of Doc/Emerson.

Would guess one of them is definitely Lucas Moura. Could be Doherty or Pape who miss out. If Gil doesn't go this window, Conte likes him enough to leave him in the CL squad.

Should be Gil and doc imo. We have enough attackers and porro/Emerson offer different tactical attributes.
