The direction of travel makes sense. Look at Woolwich or Brighton, young teams full of energy. But you need a philosophy, a plan a direction. Conte doesn’t suit that and if he is off I don’t want us wasting our time on the next elite manager.
The club needs a style of play, so that if one manager goes the next one has to be similar. If we are getting lots of attack minded young players then ideally we need a new Poch type of manager. Whether it is Poch himself or Kompany or someone else the club needs to stick with a principle and build round it.

Yeah i'm all for it. We should also go and get other good youngsters we've liked for ages like Alex Scott at Bristol City (although he'd cost more money) but please have a proper strategy and a path to the first team for them. That should be in parallel to first team signings.
