We need to replace half the squad and buy 10/12 players. There’s zero appetite for the club to do this or else we would have started by now. I suspect levy is sitting there thinking the squad is fine and it is all the manager‘s fault they aren’t performing despite it being yet another manager who can’t get anything out of them. We need investment and players in and out so badly. We’ve signed one centre back in 6 years. What other club in the PL acts like that nevermind one that’s meant to be a serious football champions league club.
We don’t seem to have much success in the summer either. Hard to do deals in January we are always told, yet it seems every other club on the planet doesn’t struggle. It’s just a bullshit excuse from the club.

We are managing to make ourselves less attractive by the day to a decent player. CL slipping away , Europa far from a given , massive uncertainty over the manager , not competitive on salaries and our best player wants to leave

They're not exactly producing a legion of Harry Kanes though. What City can do that we can't, is give kids pitch time because they have 10 full internationals with them on the pitch to hold their hands.

I'm not sure the analysis is totally correct. I could argue that the 343 is part of the problem, we lose midfield every game. That we if we had played 352 would have conceded much less goals with the players we have got now.

The club needs to hit the reset button. We have at most 5-6 players we can build a new squad around, and that's not including Kane and Son as Kane will leave this summer and Son is burnt out.
Bentacur, Romero, Kulusevski, Richarlison, Udogie and Bissouma. All talented players who belong at this level, albeit not always showing it now. Add Spence to that, but loan him.
Paramount is a new GK, CB, ST and RB, for any new manager or if Conte does stay.. Regardless of this board staying or a takeover happening.

We are definitely not broke. The club is in a limbo state because they don't know what Conte will do, and they're most likely in talks of a takeover so don't want to invest anymore. Levy has blood in his hands with his management of the club post-stadium.
We aren’t even loaning out any of the young players either. It’s all very strange.
