He wasn't appointed until 2004.
I watched him a few times at Milan, and I don’t think he played a single game as striker. Nearly every game I watched he played ACM behind a striker. It didn’t help that Milan were struggling last season for rhythm, and their midfielders kept getting injured.
I didn’t even realise he was striker/CF.
Just seen De Ketelere for 25min and he’s scored, pressed, linked and looked really tidy. Really tidy.
I’d take him before a twat like Toney if we really need a 9. Still prefer Zirkzee but De Ketelaere will def end up a big time player
No obligation to buy.
Think it's a perm move but you never know with Italian clubsWas brilliant at Brugge, very exciting. Thought he'd do well at AC, but so far he's flopped badly. Think Atalanta loan is the perfect move to resurrect his career.
He was only with us for a year but it was long enough to point us in the right direction and lay a few foundations. Comolli went on to sign Berbatov, Bale and Modric and the rest is history.I thought he was earlier than that as he got rinsed from us as part of the early days of Abramovic.....?

Sadly not!

At some point injuries will stop happening as much as players bodies adapt to the work rate required for Angeball. If he’s up for it, then Dragusin will be in the mix for a starting spot. I guess we’ll find out. Still have to get him first.I mean, this isn't true, it's it?
He just needs to be injured and suspended less often.
If one or both of Romero and VdV struggle to be available regularly, they'll become the back up
I can’t see any mention of him playing RB, but that’s good if it’s the case. He's plays RB as well and well enough for coaches to have initially considered a permanent switch. Which is a nice bit of flexibility too.
I mentioned them becasue someone said something about twitter. You yourself literally mentioned Ange & Romano in your posts...... It's a direct response to what you HAVE said!
You've already had a proper rant up so 'I'm calm" doesn't wash.
Surely we can outbid 1.5m![]()
UEFA impose €1.5 million transfer limit on Roma for January - FootItalia.com
UEFA have imposed a €1.5 million budget on Roma for the January transfer window, restricting their ability to reinforce.www.footitalia.com
Yes, I keep forgetting about Europe. He does not have to be a guaranteed starter. If we can rest Romero/VDV for 20 minutes it will make a big differnce. The fact is it will allow us more tactical flexibility and better squad depth that will help prepare us for being in Europe again next season.

Report: Serie A club are hoping Spurs will let player leave once Dragusin signs

Calciomercato have indicated that AS Roma are hopeful Tottenham Hotspur will let Eric Dier leave once they complete a deal for Genoa centre-back Radu Dragusin.
The report says that Roma are now playing a waiting game as Tottenham continue to be locked in talks with Genoa for Dragusin.
It is revealed that Jose Mourinho has been promised by the Giallorossi hierarchy that a centre-back will arrive through the door this month, given that Evan Ndicka is going to the Africa Cup of Nations.
However, the outlet explains that Roma do not have much money to spend, which is why Dier would be a good solution, given his contract situation at Spurs.
Roma waiting for Dragusin to move for Eric Dier
The report says that the Serie A club are currently waiting for Tottenham to get Dragusin through the door as the expectation is that Dier will then be allowed to exit Hotspur Way.
It is said that Roma are of the belief that the Romanian switch to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium would ‘pave the way’ for the Spurs defender to reunite with Mourinho, with the Portuguese coach wanting the English defender at the Stadio Olimpico.
The publication asserts that the Italian club could even land Dier without paying any compensation to Spurs, given that the former Sporting star only has six months left on his contract at North London.
Spurs Web Opinion
Dier and Hojbjerg will both likely be allowed to leave Spurs this month once a centre-back (likely Dragusin) and a midfielder (potentially Conor Gallagher) arrive through the door.
If Tottenham’s priority is to get Dier’s salary off their wage bill, they might even be open to terminating the centre-back’s contract and allowing him to leave on a free transfer.
