I don't get why we need him.

The biggest problem we have had all season, is not the scoring goals, but the awful and woeful lake of chances. The lack of creativity and risk taking.
AP likes his wingers to hit the byeline and cut back low. Werner is renowned for this when he plays wide. He's always had good assist numbers, it's his finishing that's been suspect, though mostly for Chelsea.

He'll play left and, judging from 2 deft near post finishes by Richarlison from similar chances, Werner will weigh in with the assists. If he has his scoring boots with him as well, then it could well be a fantastic bit of business.

Get half a season of this from him and, if reports are accurate, we could pick him up for £30M and have our Son succession sorted for the next 3-5 years.

No point trying to reason you out of a position you didn’t reason yourself into. At least you’re open about that!

FWIW I dont give Levy any credit for these signings.
Why would he? Levy is a bald headed c**t.

So fucking incompetant that he had to give a player away for free to AM, because the fuck wit didn't know how many players we could loan out.

And hired Mourinho, Nuno and Cunti, for them three alone he needs to burn in hell for the rest of eternity.

How old is he? Is he fast.

Compared to Jota? As like what I have seen from him and he is fast.

We're 7 months into his tenure mate, rebuilding a shattered squad and, so far, our recruitment has brought in gems. Like I said earlier, arguably 7 players that will be considered elite, if some of them aren't already.

You like using Liverpool's recruitment as the yardstick. Have a look at their transfer dealings between 2015 and 2019. Each season, 2 expensive signings, with a bunch of cheap punts. They got VVD and Salah after they sold Coutinho. Essentially it took them 3 seasons of squad building, along with selling their best player, before they finally won the league.

So far, our model appears to be very similar. Couple of high end players (no I'm not saying elite), with astute buys of very high potential.

We're backing the long term plan, not the manager, as the manager is just a part of that plan. That's why he was employed.

Could not agree more, imagine if Ange was given four hundred million to spend like ETH has been?

Ange is buying players specifically to fit his system, at United for example they just buy a bunch of expensive trinkets. Sancho, Varane, Eriksen, Marital, Hojlund and Casemiro being prime examples. Senseless extravagant spending that has put them right in the shitter.

Klopp is the prefect example of team building, whereas at United and Chelsea they hope that some of the shit they throw ay the wall sticks.

I watched the Bologna - Genoa game from yesterday this morning and Dragusin was rock solid the whole game, he even completed 2 or 3 good long passes. He reminds me of the 2020 version of Skriniar that Mourinho wanted, but much better in the air.

Pure bruiser of a footballer
And we need a player that's dominant in the air also, against Bournemouth I can't remember us winning 1 aerial duel.

This is where we want to be as a club - where everyone has said they want to be.

Levy away from transfers - his opinion on footballers should be irrelevant.

Everyone wants him just to sign the cheques and leave the footballing decisions to the footballing experts we employ.

As far back as the end of Nov, reports talk about Lange focussing on a defender and striker for this window. We seemingly have identified targets and are moving for them quickly.
