Would they take Scarlett too?

They got a right winger and two CF who score goals, though...so likely he'd keep the bench warm as he did at Ipswich.

But I'd like to see him get another Champo loan. Same for Dorrie and Donley. League One wouldn't be that bad a move either for the last two.
I like the idea of sending the youngsters to clubs in pairs if possible (hopefully Phillips/Devine is by design rather than just coincidence), help them settle into a new environment without being too comfortable, and allows them to keep building their on/off field chemistry with each other for when they return here.

Hopefully fruitful loans will build strong relations with the right kind of clubs, where we can be confident they will receive fair playing time, in the right kind of system, and the clubs won't feel aggrieved when the players are re-called as they will be confident of getting another player or two from the next batch.

Donley and Dorrington to PV for the remainder of this season, and then maybe to Plymouth in the Championship next year could be ideal.

Excellent work.

I wonder who specifically is pulling the strings on this kinda stuff now..... Refreshingly competent compared to the last god-knows-how-many-years.

Have to feel for P.Vale though........ He was having quite the impact for them.
Agree. Seldom do we have loanees being recalled or even returning in the January window. It's almost like whoever the coach/manager was in the past just didn't wanna see those loanees ever again until they return for pre season before getting loaned out again. We are so much more responsible as a club to these players now. I know we are paying their wages, but if we are always so active in charting their progress, their improvements can never be a bad thing to us.

If he couldn’t even get game time vs United with the midfield we put out, no point keeping him here
I get your point but to be honest, Ange was always gonna pick Hoj & Skippy ahead of the kid for Utd away. The way the game was going, he wasn't an obvious sub either.

But I do think he should've been given more opps in other games.
