I do wonder if the Chavs need this magical £50m to balance the books for FFP or that's how much they're short by to sign a marquee player like Osimhen. If it's the former I wouldn't be surprised to see Gallagher touted out again when they inevitably fail to find anyone muggy enough to give them anything close to £50m for Broja.
Their stocks are much lower than they were and prices are falling. The money doesn't exist to pay what they want for Broja and arguably Gallagher. Doubt they are in trouble, but they probably aren't in a position to add 40 million a year to their cost base which is what Osinhen would cost without further sales.

I can see them getting close to £50m for Gallagher, young, homegrown, performing well in a team performing poorly, has shown signs of having even more to his game than what he's showing right now for Chelsea when he was on loan at Palace. He reminds me a lot of Scott Parker tbh. The sticking point for the Chavs is going to be that the only teams who can afford to splash £50m on Gallagher, are direct rivals who Chelsea would arguably be strengthening by selling to them, and the fact Gallagher has made himself a fan favourite and grabbed the captain's armband. We will find out a lot about the Chavs financial situation by how they respond if they can't pull a different academy rabbit out of the hat to fleece someone for, really can't see anyone burning themselves by risking £30m+ on Broja.

Great read - seems to have not just dribbling ability but the vision to capitalize on it, and it's rare to hear of such high off-the-ball workrate in a teenager:

> The data viz displayed above illustrates the pressing actions that Antonio Nusa has made this season for Club Brugge, and it underlines his ability when it comes to trying to force opposition defenders into mistakes. As the graphic depicts, Nusa has 11 high regains this season for the Belgian champions, with 12 counter-pressing recoveries and seven dangerous recoveries. Nusa has a very high defensive work rate, constantly working off the ball to try and win possession back for Club Brugge.

I don't see him as a direct successor to Son, since he can get more productive in the final third but probably won't be as crazy elite a finisher. But I don't think those exist outside cloning Sonny, so we would have to change our playing style anyways.

Antonio Nusa?
It's a yes from me; we have a ready-made song for him and we can't miss this opportunity to remind my least favourite elite manager how quickly we have moved on.
(Oh and he looks like a good player to from the 2 mins I just spent on YouTube.)

Seems like WLB is right huh muppets, got it first before anyone.
