Weird one for me considering:

a) Similar profile to Veliz.....
b) Son & Richy both better at ST; wouldn't a new LW make more sense (esp. with Sonny off to Asia)?

If this lad is expected to have first team impact; who goes where?

Veliz - Loan?
Sonny - Full time LW again?
Who plays LW Jan/Feb?

I Love reading the Hopefuls posts. Ange seems to have made peace with the fact that he won't be getting much. Harrys 100 million has been earmarked for a extra 5 floors of the luxury Hotel.

This is funny AF....The idea we should worry he'll leave because the big boys want him. He will be here a minimum of two whole seasons unless we crash and burn. In which case why would we want him? The mega cash clubs will be way more interested in De Zerbi at this point and rightly so. That bloke will either replace Howe or Ten Hag. We get beat by Bournemouth and Nevile and Co will be back to calling Ange naive.

I think Solomon is good enough, and Ange should go and get Jota on loan until seasons end.

In 2022/2023 season he scored 11 in 29 games and had 10 assists. And before someone says well he did that in a pub league, please remember we paid sixty odd million for a forward who can't score worth a shit.

That is a no risk way of having two (three with Son) left sided attackers.

The end of the day Ange has always said he see's the front line as needing the most improvement (even though we are the PL's third highest scorers).

Injuries have forced his hand to look for a CB first and foremost, so a free transfer option is really a no brainer for the remainder of this season.

As you say Levy has brought in Munn, Lange (our very own Hinge and Bracket) to source talent for now and the near future.

If Levy doesn't intend to use these new guys to source much needed players in the January window then why employ them at all?

All i have seen so far are youngsters being scouted, to go with our current youngsters that we have that will hopefully mature into first team regulars in or around 2035.

Bill Murray has a lot to answer for.
