That is nuts, completely forgot about Solomon, feels like a new signing! So at least in my head, it feels like Levy has already got business done at the start of Jan, I feel like I should maybe be praising him for once....?!? :gallashmm:

Every single manager ever wants their trf business done early as humanly possible (or even quicker).........

It's illogical that they'd ever say anything different.

What he didn't say though is "please fanbase, riot on my behalf if Romano doesn't tell you what you want to hear with a couple of days of the window being open".

Who says I am having a melt down? Been thinking about what to have for dinner.

It's just the majority of the time we fuck about and leave it to the last moment for a lot of the time.

Like I said, I think we will get Radu, it's just a case of when, when I feel it could have been done earlier ands given Ange his christmas present at the start of the window.

It's just the usual when a player has a drop in form. We see it here all the time when it's one of our own players.

He had a break out season where no defenders knew him, then suss him out in his second. He then has to work out another way of getting the better of them, and his form drops as a result. If he's managed to work out how to overcome defenders in a different way, then he's on his way to becoming a better striker.

I've looked at his stats for this season and he's bagged 11 in 20 appearances across all competitions, with 8 in 8 in Europe.

He's 21 years old, has only just turned professional and, unlike a lot of his contemporaries, hasn't had the youth coaching that they've had. All of which tells me that there is bags of raw, natural talent that, in the right environment, could see a gem of a striker develop.

No young player has a straight line trajectory, there's always plateaus, moreso when you're playing professionally.

He may fade away, but from what I've seen and read if him, he has a huge desire to improve and maximise the talent he has, so I don't think that'll happen.

I could be wrong of course, but I have a feeling that we'll be looking at him in a few years and wishing we'd pushed the button.

I barely go on twitter and when I do, it's because I have clicked on a video link.

I am not sitting here pressing F5 like a fucking nut job waiting for an update.

Just defending my postiion that I feel we really could have got this one over the line already, and that Radu could have (and possibly still could) play for us the next game.

I couldn't give a flying fuck how often Romano updates his twitter page.

The vast majority of the time tells you that every club negotiates the same way, I can give you numerous examples of clubs negotiation over players and the process takes ages, the weird thing is we are so early in a TW which particularly isn't known for quick deals and you're losing your shit, this is unknown territory for us.

Maybe, but we've had reports of scouts going to specifically watch him, so maybe there's some legs?

He's NF's prize asset though, so highly unlikely that they'd part with him cheaply.

A shame really, as I do rate MGW highly.

Payment terms or payment up front really shouldn’t be an issue though as we still have the Kane money.
Like I have said before , it’s not panic stations yet this either gets done in the next few days or he is just a smoke screen for someone else - either way we will have someone in for training next week.
