Ange spoke to Raya and realised once speaking to him that he didn't want him.

So he may have been his top target until he realised he cared more about leaving Brentford than he did joining Spurs.

Yes, but we wouldn't budge from our £30m offer - they wanted £40m... turned out to be the correct decision in the end because Brentford have valued him at that same price we valued him at now, kinda tells me we know what we are doing when it comes to valuing players.

I hope you defended the nerdy fat kid at school who was bullied with the same vigour as you defend Danny boy . Apologies if you were the nerdy fat kid at school who got bullied , there should have been a Shadydan there for you

They’ve still been backed to a level above us mate. Don’t get me wrong they have signed some utter shit. They won’t win every bidding war but they get what they want most of the time. I’m not one for let’s go buy players at stupid prices but it’s the fighting over a few million that annoys me.
And going back to your previous post I never lied.

You're obviously entitled to your opinion, even to bash mine...but it don't change that had we really wanted that kid in on Jan 1st, it was possible. Yeah quite probable that we'd have had to pay a premium, but there was a way to get it done.
