At a push maybe but I think we need a Biss on top form or Bentancur in that roll because they can beat a press. Romero would get caught too much then kill whoever caught him. I know Biss done that at Forest but he’s very good in there more often than not. Bentancur has pretty much everything though you want in a midfielder apart from being a goalscorer but I think he can finish too.

Next season, Phillips would not qualify as a club trained player.
Donley and Dorrington would be eligible to play if Spurs nominated them on List B - once over age of 21 both will qualify as Club Trained Players, but I don't think Spurs will include them on List A next season. But if both nominated as List B players then assuming we still had Austin and Skipp we would probably have a full 25 man squad.

Ange was refusing to give a date for Maddison - in effect said that its only when player starts to train with him (rather than sport scientists which is what Maddison may be doing now) will Ange be able to assess whether the player is fit enough to play.
