Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

If he was reasonably priced, I wouldn't mind having a Cherki in our kit bag, got flaws (not great without the ball) but got the skill set to help unlock deep blocks etc. But big money would be much better spent on other, more sure things like Mitoma or Kvaratskhelia.

But what the fuck are we doing with Paratici again. Surely this completely pisses on the new recruitment structure we have put in place (and have just hired a couple more analysts by all accounts).

This is just typical of the fudged fucking shit pickling Levy deserves criticism for.

That’s just some random bullshitter posting that, it’s not true.

This signing would not make any sense to me. The last thing we need is another young CB with potential as it will bring more inconsistency, and the player will need consistent games to continue to develop or they will not progress into a decent CB. We have Vuskovic joining in the summer and I doubt we will loan him out again as then he cannot count as club trained when he turns 21. Ange himself said we need to balance the squad out now with more experienced players. I would be looking to sign an older CB who can come in and out of the team and provide leadership when needed. Tomori seems a much better option IMO.

Is this guy good enough to be starter now and
most probably next season? if not then there's no point.

We are most probably selling Romero in the summer so if Khusanov is another squad player then absolutely no point. There needs to be a realistic pathway for Vuskovic, Phillips and maybe even Dorrington so if Khusanov is another squad player we would still need to sign a starting CB to replace Romero.

VDV, New, Dragusin, Vuskovic

if they deem Khusanov a starting Cb quality wise then fair enough.

VDV, Khusanov, Dragusin, Vuskovic

although I like the idea of Tomori.

Khusanov is of interest because he is very fast. Not VDV fast, but still very fast for a CB. So he could be a like for like rotation option with Micky.

Thing is with Romero, van de Ven and Davies out injured leaves Spurs with only Dorrington as CB cover now and playing Gray out of position.
And on top of that Udogie is out injured (for 2 months), which leaves Spurs with only 3 FBs.
With the string of hammy injuries Spurs have suffered, particularly in defense, one never know who's next as it's very likely that 1 or 2 or 3 other players will have their hammy "done" before the end of the season (as Angelos doesn't seem to be aware that too many Spurs player get their hammy "done" to his training/playing style) ...so they need CB cover now, and no top-quality CB will be available this January TW
