Happy new year
We should have been working on a back up goalie for two months , I know I’m biased against ENIC and Levy but a deal should have been in place for the Newcastle game . Because I am biased I have no interest in the “ but who else has signed anyone excuse” .
The goalkeeper situation is both vital and a well known in advance desperate need , shameful that we start Forster against Newcastle.
I will be delighted to eat humble pie if our useless intern pulls off a deal before then
Read the last sentence of para 1 .Can you point out which, if any, PL club have registered a new player joining yet ? And any new signing has to be registered by Friday lunchtime - so just tomorrow morning left
There maybe one or two, like Yang, where deal agreed after last TW who will join in January.
Not sure what the scouts were thinking with Johnstone. He’s no better with his feet than Forster.
I don’t care what other clubs have done or not as the case maybe . We have the highest paid CEO in football , he is not having to buy a first team quality goalkeeper , just somebody better than Forster . He has known this for a couple of months so no slack cut by me .I did
You were venting as usual.
So please tell me which other PL clubs have announced signing other players
That thinking would sum up Levy’s Spurs. Don’t sign someone to challenge your No 1. Sign some one to challenge your backup. Why we’ll never really amount to anything.I doubt very much if Johnson is a long term option.
If true more likely to be cover for Forster if by chance he gets injured before Vicario is back (no date available for that of course).
Very few clubs have that , Ramsdale left Woolwich and Kelleher wants out of Liverpool . I agree ref any other position on the pitch thoughThat thinking would sum up Levy’s Spurs. Bad news is that Neville Southall is the back up option if the Johnstone move failsAli Gold loves to poo poo a POK rumour these days.
In this case, thank fuck for Ali Gold because nobody on here wanted to be debating Sam Johnstone rumours for the next month

Shocking listSam Johnstone , Ben Godfrey and Ben Chilwell, who are we West Ham, ffs if we wind up with any of the above Levy should be ran out of the stadium on match days.
It's only the 2nd Jan, but considering our horrific long standing injury crisis you would think signings would be a matter of urgency and would happen sooner rather than later.
Very few clubs have their keeper break their ankle though, and had a back-up so unsuited to their very particular style of play.Very few clubs have that , Ramsdale left Woolwich and Kelleher wants out of Liverpool . I agree ref any other position on the pitch though
Well let’s see if they sign a bargain basement goalie replacement otherwise we are comparing apples and orangesThe comparison with other clubs should help you understand the possibility of getting transfers done.
ManU (below Spurs in PL) and Mancity (one win in last 12 matches or something) have plenty more money than Spurs, have very pressing needs for players too - but so far no signings. Why do you think that is ?
I agree it’s why I’m saying someone better than Forster , which is not a small pool should already be doneVery few clubs have their keeper break their ankle though, and had a back-up so unsuited to their very particular style of play.
