I'd be amazed if Levy sacks Ange this season. The feeling I get is that everyone in the club appreciates that the squad is a work in progress and was too thin for this season because they were being patient to get the right profiles in, and that the injury problems have been worse than anticipated. I personally want to see Ange given another full season on the condition that Levy actually spends some money on the players we need, both in this window and the summer one. I also think that Ange has learnt that the PL is by far the most physically intense league he has encountered and will rotate much more effectively when he has a deeper squad.

We still need:

GK: A backup GK who is home grown and good with his feet.
RCB: A ball playing, experienced CB to cover Romero.
LCB: A fast, left footed defender who can cover VdV.
LB: Whilst Spence can cover this position, we need have a dedicated LB to compete with Udogie.
DM: We need an experienced specialist, as Bissouma is too inconsistent, with Gray the long term option..
RWF: With Kulu better at #10, we need an alternative to Johnson, preferably a more creative winger who can beat his man.
CF: We need proper competition for Solanke. Richy is just too injury prone. Lankshear really needs a loan.
The squad may be thin but any half decent manager gets us top 6

Gold & Guest Talk Tottenham was an interesting listen. Both seemed astonished that at least one player was not ready to come in on 1 January.

Also felt that the club has no intention of bringing anyone back from loan, which is telling in itself.

With 2 games in the next 5 days, and a squad so severely depleted in key places, it’s beyond ineptitude and has to be deliberate disregard.

I now fully expect Ange to carry the can for the semi final debacle on Wednesday and then he will be gone.

Maybe that’s the club’s plan?

That they were astonished is astonishing in itself. This club is nothing if it's not predictable. Early business was drastically needed so that's how we knew it wasn't going to happen.

Disregard is built in. They look at player purchases as separate to immediate squad needs. The financial investment is what is considered above all and they will only do a deal on the terms they want, no matter how long it takes to do the deal.

You could be forgiven for thinking a loan or even a loan to buy or 2 could have been done on Jan 1st to cover immediate needs but it's just not what they do.

The two most boring cunts on the Internet.

Sign Tomori, it just makes sense regardless of Anges future.

Also Dennis Cirkin should still be an option, would stop us having to have Whiteman and Austin in Europa squad and give us depth at LB.

Whatever GK we sign, if we do, will not be better than Vicario.

"Could suit both parties" are the key words here: it will suit Chelski as they will get his £200,000 weekly salary off their books and it will suit Chilwell as Ben will chill well on the side line at Hotspur Way training facility because he'll do his hamstrings every time he's fit to train.
From my massive ITK , any freind of James Maddison is not being sort by Big Ange. Unless said freind is bringing his dinner.

So, from all the current bullshit speculation and rumour, my current wish list is an experienced back-up GK (don't really care who), Tomori and Gomes.
