As usual with us we like to fudge it and buy players that can play two players rather than one for each.
Not in the Europa League, only U21s who have been with the club >2 years count (B list). We are in a 1 in 1 out scenario. We can only make 3 changes and 2 of those will be adding Kinsky and Spence (possibly at the cost of Forster and Odobert). We can only make 1 other change. If the priority is the EL there is no point buying 3 or 4 players as we cannot register them. Thus, squad upgrades can be postponed to the summer assuming VdV, Romero, Davies etc are back in 2 weeks, and Richy is back now.

That is helpful. So essentially that means we need to get the best attacking player available in Jan (whether on loan or perm).

but the "way Spurs play now" has been the problem, not Dragusin! That is overstating it a bit I know, as he does lack comfort on the ball. He could no doubt improve a bit with work (including learning from playing this season). I think he is getting better, even if there are backward steps as at Newcastle game. I hope we keep him.
Tbh I could see Spence even taking Davies spot now. Gray covers CB and FB, Spence covers both FBs and CB at a push.

I don’t think you’re necessarily saying this but just to be clear, Spence isn’t covering anyone.
It’ll be who out of Udogie and Porro covers Spence when they’re all fit.
