So with our current position , the injuries some which seem they could reoccur MVV the best example . The fact we are in 4 competitions still. The fact we are not constricted by FFP compared to others, where would you say our degree of urgency out of the 1-20 teams in the Premier League.People said this last year when we had spent by far the most.

We have made the only remotely significant signing this transfer window in the entire premier league.
There are also squad harmony issues to consider. If we bought another CB for instance, and Romero, VDV and Davies are back in a couple of weeks, then we’d have more players sitting around not playing. If you can’t even get your preferred targets this is a mistake. So with our current position , the injuries some which seem they could reoccur MVV the best example . I think the injury crisis, 4 comps , FFP wriggle room which we have I think we are right up there as most in need personally . One could argue about teams in the relegation spots but Saints know they are down. Everton not quite in relegation spots but are financially trapped .
I’m sure City , Woolwich would like to add but they don’t have 10-11 serious injuries .
As for signing the keeper it was negligent to start the season with Forster as back up , no applause from me for correcting a dreadful mistake 6 months late

So would I, I just can’t accept the narrative of hey look we signed someone and the others have not as some kind of win . No way is Forster an Ange type keeper and I do not believe he wanted to start the season with him as back up . I think the two positions that remain of grave concern are a player who can play LCB/LB and maybe cover for Solanke .Every year our fans say we have urgency like you’ve never seen before.
I have an urgency not to make signings that will become deadwood in 6 months.
The best players don’t move mid season.
We will have a lot of players come back from injury in the next month.
If we made one more quality signing I’d be happy.
Only suggesting for hg and a left sided cb with 6 months left now we can pre contract him why not at least we can try and city signed khusanov and that rios kid 2 cbs

It’s not a narrative. It was a response to a specific claim that were showing no urgency. So would I, I just can’t accept the narrative of hey look we signed someone and the others have not as some kind of win . Who cares. Another overrated defender who is clumsy as fuck. Gets himself in trouble far too much.
In no way will he ever play for any of those two clubs.
No I don’t , thinking Forster was an acceptable number 2 is disconnected from reality . So saying Minsky validates acting swiftly is laughable , Forster has needed replacing ever since Ange arrived , but starting this season with him was gross negligenceIt’s not a narrative. For two years in a row we’ve made early signings in January and more than anyone else and yet we’re being told the club is not showing any urgency?
You see how disconnected from reality that is?
He's running down his contract so that he can get scandalous wages at his next club. He'll go to United as they'll offer 250K a week. I doubt we'd go above 100K especially if he's not even a guaranteed starter
Fixing an issue in our squad early in the window is a good thing or not?No I don’t , thinking Forster was an acceptable number 2 is disconnected from reality .
