9 minimum
Crocodile Celtic really. No to Mckenna unless we are in the Championship. I'd rather Iraola then Frank but either is a massive upgrade on Crocodile Dundee.
Rise together……I heard when we get the stadium sponsor sorted it will be a real game changer! Not long to go now, the finishing line is in sight, the glory days are close!!!!! We will rise together !!!!![]()
Can’t remember who but someone mentioned that we’re close to the limit of foreign players . This could be a factor when trying to get players in.
Both de-risks and increases the risk of doing a Leeds9 minimum
Shift a few of the deadwood and bring the wage bill down further and I'll be tempted to plump for a 10
Does Levy even make footballing decisions any more? I thought the whole point of Lange/Munn was for Levy not to focus on other things instead...Yeah I don’t buy all the other bollocks about levy all of a sudden deciding to give a manager time. A leopard doesn’t change its spots.
HahahahahaDoes Levy even make footballing decisions any more? I thought the whole point of Lange/Munn was for Levy not to focus on other things instead...
Imagine we resign that clownshow
Have we played Fulham twice yet?
Well I mean, in January 2009 we signed a new goalkeeper, right back, DM, and two new strikers?Yes I remember that period, and have been a fan since I was a toddler in the late 70s. What isn't "strictly correct"? I'm not sure what exactly you are disagreeing with. :/
Who said it was impossible? :/ You're totally missing the point being made. We (all of us) shouldn't be 'shocked' if it doesn't happen - given that you've named one year from the last 15, that would suggest it's a pretty rare occurrence. But actually in any case as I clearly stated, I was talking specifically about the people who hate the owners and say they rarely do anything 'right' - if that's their view, they should be even less 'shocked', the two positions don't make sense together - you can't say that you expect something to be terrible, then say you are 'shocked' when it is terrible, it doesn't make sense.Well I mean, in January 2009 we signed a new goalkeeper, right back, DM, and two new strikers?
So it shows we can do it. It’s not impossible.
Now, granted, transfer were arguably more straightforward back then, and clubs were less versed with Levy and ENIC’s nonsense when it comes to negotiations.
Channeling your inner Shady. Why would they?
They're making bank, innit. I'm talkin' bare peas, blud. Absolute wastemen though
Except for the fact it seems like this article is spelled correctly and uses decent grammar, this could have been written by a member on here. Uses the same old tired quote about buying Glasgow Rangers, the wages to turnover ratio, etc. All tough to argue against, but hardly worth a “wow”. Seems like I’ve read this article a thousand times in the past decade. You're missing my point... which is that the article is not saying anything that hasn't already been discussed in the ENIC thread (where this conversation very obviously belongs).Tottenham Massive posts it as though it is some amazing revelation that will have us all saying "oh right, great points made, now we agree with you", but it's not saying anything new. I've actually read it all now, and for me it's a mixture of arguements already discussed many times, mixed in with lots of utter nonsense and the usual hyperbole. It's an article written for people who already agreed with everything it is saying before they read it, so they can now (like JT) go "ooh wow look at this amazing article" - as though it is somehow ground-breaking - but in reality it adds nothing new to the long-standing debate, it just echoes things already said.
