Not sure that’s right as you just name a smaller squad, however it’s one of the excuses spun out. We’ve a history of poor squad management though so it’s entirely believable.

Who said it was impossible? :/ You're totally missing the point being made. We (all of us) shouldn't be 'shocked' if it doesn't happen - given that you've named one year from the last 15, that would suggest it's a pretty rare occurrence. But actually in any case as I clearly stated, I was talking specifically about the people who hate the owners and say they rarely do anything 'right' - if that's their view, they should be even less 'shocked', the two positions don't make sense together - you can't say that you expect something to be terrible, then say you are 'shocked' when it is terrible, it doesn't make sense.
Except for the fact it seems like this article is spelled correctly and uses decent grammar, this could have been written by a member on here. Uses the same old tired quote about buying Glasgow Rangers, the wages to turnover ratio, etc. All tough to argue against, but hardly worth a “wow”. Seems like I’ve read this article a thousand times in the past decade.You're missing my point... which is that the article is not saying anything that hasn't already been discussed in the ENIC thread (where this conversation very obviously belongs).Tottenham Massive posts it as though it is some amazing revelation that will have us all saying "oh right, great points made, now we agree with you", but it's not saying anything new. I've actually read it all now, and for me it's a mixture of arguements already discussed many times, mixed in with lots of utter nonsense and the usual hyperbole. It's an article written for people who already agreed with everything it is saying before they read it, so they can now (like JT) go "ooh wow look at this amazing article" - as though it is somehow ground-breaking - but in reality it adds nothing new to the long-standing debate, it just echoes things already said.
And these arguments are still one hundred percent valid. Not a supprise as you say but still true .
